I know people that can do it like a local and live n about £300 per month.

If you want to live like a foreigner with rent you’re looking at 1to 3k gbp per month, just depends what luxuries you partake in. Phrakanong is further down just past ekkamai, you can find apartments in pretty good nick for about 300-400a month or nice,ones that start from a grand. Jus depends what you’re after.

They’ve great restaurants here the best ones aren’t cheap not western prices either but it soon all adds up.but on the flip side you can eat Thai all the time and vastly decrease your spending.

If I had my time again. I’d rent, plenty of supply and high quality, house prices in thong lo mad expensive, condos from 200k gbp upwards are your best bet.

Cost of living depends on your habits ;)

Thong lo is right next to ekkamai, Ekkamai used to be a good place fr clubbin and restaurants but now just high rise condos like much of the city ;(.

Still pretty much a ghost town, Covids hit hard here economically.
