I wanted the 2 cents contract. its a bit more complex than that, every investor here was under the impression it was 2 cents fixed, even then pw should have secured some sort of fixed contract, pw saying he's waiting for energy costs to decrease was never part of the Texas move. Instead he's buried his head in the sand and energy prices have run against argo. To be in this situation was so avoidable, however they made mistakes announcing this 2 cent deal fixed and arent even cognisant of what they've done let alone correct.

If they don't start acting now to resolve this NYDIG will own Helios by Xmas imho.

After Winter Storm Uri in February 2021, there were several changes to laws, regulations, and market rules in the State of Texas made by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).

Some of these changes increased supply costs in Texas. Recently a portion of these changes were finalized. As a result Texas customers will see increased charges as pass through costs.

How much are rates increasing?

Rate increases will vary by your utility and location. Over the past year in Texas, the average CenterPoint rate increased from 10.6¢ to 18.4¢ per kWh a ~70%. In the past month the average rate has increased almost 30%.

If you are renewing a contract from years past you will likely see an significant increase in your rate. For reference, rates from 2020 were generally lower than 10¢ per kWh. Seeing rates above 15¢ may be a bit shocking.

In conclusion prices aren’t falling in Texas they are rising and fast, in the last month it’s gone up 30% makes a complete fallacy of what PW is telling us about this phantom ppa deal. Why does he insist Leccy is going down ?

Mining margin gonna be 12/13% very bullish.

Of course high debt is very bullish here as is low liquidity.

Well, at these current prices for s19j pros and xp’s intel are gonna need to drastically reduce the price of its chips.

I remember the rampers telling us how the intel brand guaranteed success, epic failed last year with rigs due to techno problems, in nearly 2 years I’ve seen epic produce 1 intel prototype rig and when that was shown we were told 2 weeks away from receiving intel Epic rigs, then it all got cancelled.

I think Hexam is one of the few here that could fairly assess Helios value. I’d be surprised at current market conditions of over 100 million usd, especially what clsk are chalking up in this space currently.

NYDIG are no fools and certainly not 9 cents per kwh fools. More to this alliance than meets the eye. Especially with the loan obligations Argo have now with nydig.

Instant btc growth, they’ve defo played the smart game here.

Selling btc at profitable prices really enhanced what their doing now as opposed to the forced capitulation that Argo and other forced sellers have had to do.
