Riot have been mining in Texas for a while, still no noticeable uplift or even news regarding immersion.

I didn’t know riot hosts 200mw at its site. That’s about 6 eh Do they get 25 percent of the profits x;)

Thanks, With the higher rate of renewable energy being used in the UK and with the standing charge its near 58p per kwh Does more renewable energy mean higher prices? Its easy to blame Putin but renewable energy is expensive. Before the Ukraine invasion we used 3% of our gas from Russia for our bills to triple cant just be attributed to 'Evil Putin' x;)

Windmill subsidies end soon here and that will have another impact on price, I think Texan retail market have been told to expect a 17% increase shortly to their bills.

With a currnet unit price of 58p per kwh another 80% increase due next year lol we could be at 1 GBP per kwh but yeh sure btc will moon under those conditions lol x;) and then the press will tell us how good renewables are and theyre only 50p per kwh lol

Unfortunately you still have a lot of gas and coal fired power plants in Texas, if these get phased out will renewables be able to keep the power on, admittedly Texas have got rid of loads of coal powered plants but cant replace Gas right now for its price and efficiency.

Wind energy has proven to be expensive not enough wind in the summer and turbines in windmills not winterized in 2021 causing the grid to shutdown.

What wasted wind power is that? are you referring to the wind farm next to it, ? those prices are already above 15 cents per kwh last time i checked.

Ab the rate rises is the modern game of chicken. The uk introduce all these rate rises for mortgages and loans but the rate is only at 2.25% inflation running hot at well over 10 percent (real inflation( not he cooked books) and rates will have to hit 4/5 percent. BOE flipped from QT to QE on a flip flop, unless we want to keep soaring inflation then interst rates will rise and it will cause mayhem !

Once those rises start again which they will it all collapses again.
