It’s been bad for Argo for more than 12 months. The other miners only started suffering from the Luna debacle may June time.

When I hear people saying ‘I just need’ ‘i just want’ to me that sounds like a bad gamblers move, after what happened to you in Argo I’d be researching day and night to find the correct miner and make sure I don’t repeat the Argo mistake.

Maybe your punt will work out, I hope it does, but if these bear times are prolonged for the miners, then just like with Argo, time, low btc and increasing costs prohibits clsk growth.

Hey Swans, nothing against Riot, No curtailment at riot now until next year so will be interesting to see what RIOT numbers are this month, could defo present a trade imho.

Lets see if the FED pivots, i think if we were going bearish it would have been .5 but seems forecasted for .75 and more rises to counter rising 'temporary' inflation x;)

Mara mined 615 ish AB they mined 58 btc in one day the 18th I think and then 7 blocks on Monday. You should do a deep dive into Maras most recent earnings calls lots of info regarding ppa's Texas etc. Fred told me more than Pete ever will.

Currently none of the miners have a profitable business. Hence the fire sale prices of mining equipment.

After the Argo debacle I would have thought you would want some genuine bod members but clearly Ab you think its fine that CLSK board members receive bonuses for raising capital? for raising debt ? for selling shares and to skim btc every month off the totals?

It all stinks to me but we all pay and take our chances in this market.

The bod are bonused for raising capital, selling shares, mining btc and each 1eh added, and a lot more bonuses for old rope, soon CLSK wont care how they add eh, theyve been lucky up till now because you have so many machines available, once they attempt to go to 20 odd eh the trouble will start in clsk. Corz buy of blockchain and mad debt rates to buy the machines is what killed corz, clsk raised 20 million recntly at 9.9 % and the bod got a bonus for that, come on mate this could easily end up in tears just like corz and argo! management arent rewarded for success at clsk theyre rewarded for the above mentioned, Does clsk have 500 million ATM ? they could easily be in a corz type situation in 6-9 months

Youll realise sooner or later that maras biggest strength is its debts! A lot of people have Mara envy here and moved into CORZ and CLSK lol

Corz is going and you watch CLSK go and wreck itself, bod get bonuses for selling shares, for mining btc, for each 1 eh added, so many bonuses i'm sure they get one for parking in the car park in the morning.

I'm more confident in Mara explosion during the next bull run than I was in the short here and i was convinced by the time that short went down, so we will see. We all pay and take our chances, I just see the value in where Mara are going to.

That why I said if i couldnt invest in Mara it would be hut8 or hive, so i agree with your points on this and we both know that if btc goes up a couple of grand some miners will fly. My issue with CLSK is the funding for the EH targets they have, all very argo like in its approach, the 2.75 btc siphoned off to the bod every month, that could be a lot of money one day, is salary and bonuses not enough that they have to skim off the top ? and a few other things in the culper short note that im not feeling impressed with, its the same reason why i wont touch mstr, I may miss out on spikes but i cant invest in known jokers x;) but anyway mate good luck i hope it breaks out and if btc does move it doesnt matter what i think CLSK will go up.

My main concentration will be Mara, I doubt ill be punting in any other miners now and after all the people on here telling me how transparent pete and argo are , go and listen to some mara earning calls, very transparent and intelligent.

You had it sussed a while back Hex, I call it the dawn of realisation mine came after the Texas land deal and the permit ready spiel, still kept long for 5 months after that, hoping for the Nasdaq listing which happened and bull run 2 which happened and yeh it still didnt work out here.

I knew the vast bulk of Panhandle land in Texas is permit ready but the 100 million credit facility and the imminent Nasdaq listing kept my greedy fingers in this. It feels like PW always just gave me enough rope to justify staying in as long as i did, the jam tomorrow syndrome is alive and well in Argo. So 5 months i stayed in this for after i knew he was lying, led me to the point that if PW died he would lie still.

Life lessons here for sure beware of CEOS with soundbite captions and unable to give detailed information on events within Argo and when your gut and head is saying get out get out get out, then get out of it!

Good Luck Hex I hope Cine continues to turn around, i top sliced with a bit of relief yesterday.......Im gonna go heavy into Mara at points before the next bull run! Lets hope that punt works a lot better than the long punts here in Argo,.

I don’t doubt they’ve made some great moves HC, they’re being penalised like all miners for currently selling btc at a loss, however that’s the main cash driver, if btc prices continue throughout next year then the firms with no hodls will go first, or they’re selling infrastructure like Argo are now to keep the lights on.

I’m sensing a much longer bear market and way more pain in crypto, so hodls and access to funding will play out, with those metrics added to the smells of clsk it isn’t for me but I get the attraction with it. It’s done some awesome buys. But needs a whole lot more to standout, you trading hc or a long term hold ?

Too many smells for me mate. Culper research still short on it.

If I couldn’t buy Mara I’d buy hut and hive before clsk, the eh target is a dream or as soon as they fund it, it becomes like corz and Argo and no hodl, next bull run hodls will be way more valuable.
