What happened after that is not just Mara it’s the whole sector, no miner created that amount of value Ab. In the real world you pay for that.

If it’s 12 minutes it’s 20% decrease 8 minutes is a 25%increase I understand that, I’m trying to think ahead for the 5th December and what it could likely be.

Lol I’m trying to explain this and it’s obviously not coming out right and every time I write it down it becomes more confusing.

Lol I know what I’m going on about but can’t explain it, Ab I know the difficulty won’t change until the 5th December, the time of the blocks will, the standard is ten minutes as its 10.7 right now that will ‘try’ to get to 10 minutes from now till the 5th which would offset the 7% decrease it is suggesting now for the 5th December.

I’ve seen huge variant 2-3 days after where the increase or decrease is 20-30% for the next difficulty rate but the time of 10. Minutes per block is well out, as it gets closer to difficulty date it gets closer to 10 mins per block and then the increase/ decrease becomes more neglible.

At the moment from what I’m seeing is a very Minimal difficulty adjustment for the 5th December.

if that fails they have 550 million they can dilute, the silver gate is another 100 million that should take them through to next summer, I did say a while back Fred seems to have only priced in low btc till April next year.

It’s Ditto for every major miner, everyone of them requires higher btc and more hash.

Ab used to mock Mara a lot for its bonus structure then lo and behold goes into clsk that has a more biased bonus structure than Mara did.

I’m still going over mara 10q filing but nothing too nasty within it considering the current climate.

I’m talking about the percentages adjusting by the next difficulty date, 5th December, as it’s 10.70 mins per block now roughly 7% as that adjusts or tries to get closer to 10 minutes that 7% will be absorbed on the 5th December so I think right now it’s neglible for a decrease in difficulty as high as 7% on the 5th, would be welcome news for the miners but I think they keep getting squeezed.

First few days after the difficulty date, the %'s are always very skewed as it adjusts to 10 minutes.

Argobull 47k to 16k is some drop, Im still convinced we see 12.9k by Jan 1 2023, I was convinced of 15k but that won super quick, FTX hasnt even played out yet the courts yesterday were able to redact the FTX creditors, its a proper 5hit show and whos next...... you clear up one pile of 5hit only for another load to fall down again.

Blubay, If you look up btc usd on google, on the charts do Max for timescale we are literally in june 2018, look where btc goes from that point, its not until April 2019 that it gets some juice again, so im expecting in about 10 months from now another btc spike.

Id be surprised if it doesnt follow that to be fair, as it has copied the last bull run in 2017/2018 almost exactly. Unless fiat collapses (which it wont) then nothing is going to break this cycle.

October 7th

The Company has executed a non-binding letter of intent ("NYDIG LOI") to amend its existing equipment financing agreement with an affiliate of New York Digital Investment Group LLC ("NYDIG"). This amendment releases approximately £5.0 million ($5.7 million) of restricted cash and modifies the amortisation schedule for the Company's existing loans. The transaction significantly reduces the Company's debt service payments and links future payments for NYDIG loans used to finance purchases of digital asset mining equipment to network mining profitability. In exchange, the Company will provide NYDIG with an expanded collateral package. The amended equipment financing agreement is expected to contain customary covenants for an agreement of its type. The Company and NYDIG expect to close the amendment within the next few weeks, and a further announcement will be made in due course.

PW hasn’t spoken or been quoted since that update right ? A few weeks is now 6 weeks ago, I’d say that deals dead too, this is a big cash burner, so I’m all ears PI how they gonna survive next 5-6 months
