Just looking at the sold value today of UKOG at £122k and bought value at £ 205 K , can someone who works in share dealing tell me why sp closes today at same value when bought value exceeds sold by 83 k? Just interested in any views.

Looking at the government plan to have diesel and petrol cars banned by 2035 seems an ambitious plan considering the performance of key projects being late ie Crossrail, Smart meters and HS2 and very few new power stations.
Perhaps the South East’s has 24 hour infrastructure to enable change but elsewhere in the country we are lucky to have old trains let alone bus service, so in my opinion it’s just more political jestures to appease climate protesters.

Looking at Premier Oil sp. of 118.65 yesterday and their intention to buy further into North Sea activities , I can only dream that sometime soon this dismal sp for UKOG will shortly show some positive upward trends.
What’s our LTH of this share thinking for 2020? Always found that Friday afternoon thoughts are normally carefully considered.

While we await news I would just like to say that having seen Rod Stewart in concert in Liverpool last night that all the fans in Leeds , Birmingham and London this week will see a really fabulous 2 hour show, can’t say more but brilliant.... forget politics and enjoy??

With reference to JC In an election I suppose you mean Jed Clampit ( Beverley Hill Billies) he really did appreciate his oil find and wealth and he retained his dress code origins similar to JC...which one would you choose to protect your investment?

It’s gone very quiet on trading today, one hopes it’s the calm before the storm.. looking for some upward trends next week or Xmas will have a tinge of austerity.

We have on this forum that for HAYD to increase revenues it could possibly be acquired by a leading manufacturing company in materials development to strengthen future position.
I think this is a possibility but also hope that HAYD are pursuing every opportunity to promote their product potentials at the 3 or more Advanced Manufacturing and Research Centres (AMRC) in Uk based in Sheffield, Bristol, Broughton which develop new materials for aerospace, automotive, and energy sector.
Hoping to hear of more news or partnerships during 2020 to move this sp back to more realistic levels thus showing that UK supports innovation or otherwise another market will dominate and our opportunity will be lost.

Let’s hope the UKOG efforts provide long term high value revenue streams as if we look at the Labour policies everyone who generates wealth in any capacity or profession is seen a a pariah , so with everything being promised as free it prevents people from raising their own ambition levels so in my opinion it won’t improve
individual wealth but just increase speed to bottom of barrel.

When you read this morning that British Steel is saved by Chinese investments which is good news for employees , does no one question their motives to obtain intellectual property rights to what is renowned as the best producers of steel products? What we lack in UK is vision towards manufacturers but this may change if the holy grail of the service sector is now struggling we will need something else to generate new wealth but again it appears this will go mainly to overseas corporations.
I suppose on reflection I’m hoping for a lot more from Ukog as it develops or maybe this could finish up in foreign ownership.

Just looking at today’s close and 88.1 k spent on purchasing and 38k on selling so a good healthy 2.2/1 ratio so moving in a positive direction which should give us LTH something to be positive about, let’s hope it can be substained through Friday trading.

Looking at the Hardman Research comments which seemed generally to believe progress is being made and having several large companies endorsing their potential developments I think the future looks pretty good in my opinion within the graphene applications increasing monthly.

Thank you for contributor who posted planning application link . I have read the 80 pages submission and in my view their are a lot of positives which I hope will be passed next week.
For those that point to possible environmental damage I see the proposed site is close to Gatwick airport and the M25 all of which I imagine have been used by the local protesters to their benefit , all needing kerosene and petrol to undertake these activities, so where do they think it comes from?
So my opinion is why should such a tremendous asset for Uk GDP be possible challenged , this new wealth is for our country and should benefit everyone, let’s hope selfish and self interest don’t win out.

As we read of attack on oil tankers in Gulf of Oman today and world governments becoming concerned about supply disruption then obviously with UKOG developing resources to retrieve the oil assets in Southern England then the current SP should strengthen and our government should acknowledge this and be proactive towards companies that can provide valuable natural resource with limited environmental issues.

The notification of the continued investment in ceramic manufacture is good news for Hayd. The talk about Western cutting tool suppliers now taking an interest will generate high repeat business as long as the aerospace sector remains buoyant.
You may ask why ceramics are becoming more prominant where high strength metals are being machined , this is because ceramics achieve machining data of 10-20 times higher than that of conventional coated carbide inserts as ceramics can machine high strength materials which generate higher cutting edge temperatures which obviously reduces machining times and increases productivity and competitiveness at end users.
What should be noted is that the ceramic insert costs are normally 4-6 times that of carbide inserts but with the high metal removal rates made possible with ceramics although more expensive the overall cost/part of manufacture reduces when using high cost 5-6 axis cnc machines.
Overall in my opinion the ceramic insert potential is good globally and so should generate good sales revenue for Hayd.

Well it seems everyone hates oil and related industries today, well why then do we need 200,000 graduates each year if UK manufacturing doesn’t matter? I suppose when their qualified their are plenty of positions for night porters and burger servers because in my opinion if you hate multi nationals and their investments then all that remains is for them to take up the low paid jobs... you can’t have it both ways.

So this morning we have yet more biased reports from leading broadcasters and academics trying to influence the UK opinion that any future development of fossil fuels in any part of UK will be detrimental to our environment and should be opposed. Well let’s reflect since mid seventies the UK government has collected £334 billion in tax revenues from North Sea activities and has never invested this sum wisely to provide the best of any infrastructure or legacy, so if we have a new opportunity to generate wealth should this not be pursued for the greater benefit of us all.
I may be wrong but if this oil find was not in the South East it would not make news.

As a LTH of this share and on reading the latest rns today my opinion is that UKOG is better placed to give us a good return in future on sp than a lot of other UK companies who would be very envious of having a commodity that can be converted into a long term substainable cash cow. I read with interest those that post here who know more about financial markets and its demands but coming from a production background I would sooner see a business develop and strengthen progressively than rapid rise and fall .

Well if we thought the aim market was prone to manipulation then tonight’s vote to reject brexit agreement due to self interest shows how far our renowned institutions have failed to engage with UK peoples views. So what does this mean but the triggering of an avoidable deep recession brought about by political posturing where no body wins... if UK was a banana republic the talk would be about giving them democracy so what’s happened to ours?

I don’t think this SP will change much until the enquiries regarding the latest 737 crash exonerate any application of composite and Graphene materials as possible causes. The plane has the first of a new generation of engines to have all composite fan blades.

Looking at the BBC coverage on Monday regarding other eye stem cell successes in UK has this announcement today been a knee jerk reaction ? as if Rene want to be the leading company they need to release more PR updates to keep a more positive profile to maintain shareholder interest.
