Exactly Tuan. No point giving them more money. This shambles is over. Gareth Cave is a deceitful crook. Duffers is also a crook. There is no point giving them cash or trying to save this enterprise.
It has to go into liquidation - the business is not viable and staff cannot be paid in the absence of any meaningful revenue. It is astonishing how they squandered their millions in such a short period of time. I hope that Cave avoids business and saving the world and sticks to teaching Chemistry in an E Midlands Poly in future. I lost a fortune.
I’m sure that Cave DID benefit from a handsome salary. We may find out in due course. He wasn’t working for nothing to save the planet. It’s difficult to know who to blame due to the radio silence this last year. He was a board member - he must take his share of blame.
I don’t feel sorry for Cave. He used shareholders when it suited him to get rid of Trevor Brown. He also pumped the share and then went silent. His business skills are at best dubious. He produced a scientific product nobody wanted. He would have gained a huge amount if it had succeeded - he’s not a charity worker. He is no hero. Don’t blame the shareholders.
Castle
I struggle to understand why you continue to pump this share, day in and day out, knowing that it was about to go bust. Were you trading it?
It is absolutely absurd and wholly unethical to try and encourage anyone to buy this share. It has few sales and there is no evidence of future markets. Nobody is interested in its science and technology. Read the RNS - it is about to run out of money. Please, please do not waste money in this. I lost a fortune. I don’t want you to.
You are right ExMS
I also think it could be over within a week.
I don’t understand how it can continue this cash burn.
I think Cave did lots wrong, ExMS
He used shareholders to support him when he wanted to get rid of Trevor Brown.
He then stabbed shareholders in the back by supporting (1) another load of options for Duffers (2) the lack of communication with shareholders that has ensued since Duffers took over and (3) the enormous amount of money that is wasted each month to pay bloated salaries. He is a director and large shareholder so must share responsibility for all of these failures.
He is, as you rightly say, also held liable for the bigger boat comment. He is no businessman.
The oft quoted myth that Cave is a scientist who is not interested in money is misguided. He had an enormous stake in NNN. I acknowledge that he didn’t sell any… but he couldn’t. The share price would have crashed.
I agree with Silver that what people post on this bulletin board is irrelevant. If the company is performing (or perceived to be performing) the share price will rise regardless of what anyone says here. If the company is not performing (or not perceived to be performing) the reverse applies. So… there is no need for personal attacks. However, the uncomfortable reality (and I hold lots of shares) is that the market lacks confidence in MOS currently.
Toffee - I’m not stalking you. You said that your viewpoint is ‘easily provable’ by reading your posts. I just offered to provide examples, if you would like me to, by reading your posts.
Furthermore, you also misinterpreted what I said about the options. I didn’t say a 180% increase in share price is bad. I indicated that I don’t think it’s in the interests of long term holders.
You’re entitled to agree or disagree with me or anyone else. I just don’t get the bullying? Why does it help the share price if you aggressively put others down? Why not just state your opinions?
I’m not trying to ‘get back at you’ and I am not supporting (or not supporting) anyone else. You attacked me - I responded if you read this thread. But… read your posts - they are aggressive and personal. If you want me to find you examples, I will.
Toffee - I am not a de-ramper. I hold what is, for me, a lot of money in these shares. I’m just saying that I don’t support the options.
The problem with you, Toffee, is that if anyone dares to disagree with you they are instantly attacked. You may wish to think about your strategy. It’s rude, offensive and doesn’t work.
The rug has not pulled the rug under anyone, Silver. The fact that they have awarded themselves options isn’t necessarily a good thing. There will be a lot of dilution if it (temporarily) reaches the option price. My personal view of options - which I am entitled to have having experienced it elsewhere - is that it encourages companies to create short-term spikes in the share price so the option holders succeed. That is not necessarily good for long-term shareholders.
It’s up to Guzzler whether he does or doesn’t sell up.
He can be positive or negative if he wants to be.
Same for everyone else - rampers and de-rampers.
Maybe he sees long term hope but is critical at current
progress …that’s pretty much where I am.
I genuinely hope that everyone gets what they can out of this shambles before they go bust.
