I’m not unduly bothered about the actions of Kelso. They put all - or almost all - of their eggs in just one basket. That is, in my opinion, a risky investment strategy. They have now sold a proportion of THG and diversified (a good investment strategy) although I’m unconvinced about The Works given the failure of multiple businesses on the High Street.

Take-overs have *been mooted

I don’t get it.

It seems to me that this firm will be sold at some point within the next 12 months. Takeovers have mooted and offers made in the past. The golden share has gone. The products are great. This has take-over written all over it.

In the interim… it seems obvious to me that the price will fluctuate between 50 p and £1 + based on inactivity or speculation.

If you want answers right now… you may not get them. There’s no point calling for MMs head and demanding ‘immediate’ change.

If you’re prepared to wait a little longer …. You may get your golden goose.

Rock8 - I accept that Kelso (with others) ‘taking on’ Matt or a hostile takeover are two options. A third option is to be patient. The stock market is not at a high. THG can realise big gains but it may require us to wait until the time is right. Personally - I’m happy to wait.

Matt had the ‘golden share’ then and didn’t have to prove anything to anyone. We know THG will sell at a good profit for all. Relax.

Be patient. We all know that THG will be sold at some point in the near(ish) future. The uplift will likely be very significant. Until then… it will ebb and flow on no news. If people buy this stock … don’t moan every day that it hasn’t soared. You have to wait. We all do.

I don’t understand where all your positivity comes from Castle. You were saying the same sorts of things.. until nnn collapsed.

Gareth Cave was the biggest shareholder. He must take his share of responsibility for the appointment of Duffers. Let’s be realistic - Cave used shareholders then threw us under a bus. Let’s not deify him.

I think that Gareth Cave is a terrible businessman and strategist. People are crazy if they throw more money into one of his ventures. Many have lost huge sums of money with NNN. If he simply reappears with a new company there will be widespread anger and fury.

This share goes up and down but always goes up again. The one who bought £2 million this morning will make plenty of profit if he holds tight.

It’s very odd as Kelso is heavily invested in Thg.

I suspect that there will be a correction in due course.

Why are we assuming that there will be a placing?

To be clear - I’m neither ramping nor de-ramping. I’m a shareholder and I’m just asking.
