It never was and remains so.

This is a game, if 'game' is the right word, for risk takers of all persuasions. The risks are clear, the warnings are there for all, whether you're investing in government bonds, a money purchase pension or highly risky AIM explorer stocks - the value of your investment could go up or down.

It is a game for adults whereas you try to paint a picture that, people have been duped, believing in some childlike way that money has been stolen by fraudsters - almost like lollipops having been stolen from children in the playground. There was a time on all of these boards when the final statement following comments and commentaries was "DYOR" - Do Your Own Research. Great advice. Along with, "don't invest more than you can afford to lose". Both have always been truisms.

You appear to attempt to label those who make statements of faith as the miscreants, rampers, whereas you take no heed of those shorters who lost other shareholders millions in the values of their investments. You need to get real. I've been caught on a price spike more than once - more fool me!!! it was my adult decision not to sell or not to re-purchase at the right time. I read some of the recent messages on Twitter yesterday and they are simply flights of fancy with no justification.

One example was that people were being implored not to speak with you and your like-minded feline contributor over on ADVFN. My personal opinion of late was exactly that and I said so both here and over there - it was my opinion and certainly not the result of some conspiratorial 'group think'. I'm now adopting a different stance and ask you to justify your stance. You never know we might actually get to understand each others viewpoint?

FWIW I doubt we'll get to know that level of expenditure detail, even from published accounts.

My own closest experience is in boreholes and soil analyses, both geotechnical and environmental on development and remediation sites. Depending on numbers and complexity and the numbers and levels of laboratory tests of the samples extracted, these can vary from 10's to 100's of thousands.

I suspect that the levels of detail, potential values involved and the level of reliance placed on the outcome that we are at least at the upper level here.

In answer to your question NPV10 over 20 years with a straight line net cashflow annually does give 0.4257. I'll take your word for it on the conversion factors and unit pricing.

I appreciate that you make an overarching assumption that a pipeline exists to take it to market in order to retain simplicity in the concept, but in reality this cost burden would need to be taken into account in early years CAPEX ahead of your calculated revenue stream, in whole or in part. In whole if it's yours, and in part if one exists and you need to connect to it.

That would make a massive hole in the NPV forecast.

I'm sure there are other factors only technicians could explain such as well CAPEX, inter-well collection pipework (if that's the right terminology), etc, etc. There is always price and cost variability to take into account in the cashflows with price and cost inflation/deflation. Once established it may be that your 25% yoy profit is well short of the mark and this would be a major compensating factor in the positive camp.

Interesting stuff and it would be good to hear from technicians who have a better handle on the practicalities.

On a cautionary note, I know that this has been discussed previously and I DO recall some interesting extreme and sometimes quite dismissive views expressed. It will be interesting to dust them off??!!
