AM joined the team c1 year ago in the Japan office - represented EUA at a Hydrogen conference as a MD of Japan EUA off - recently announced as INED but that could have been months ago
KPMG joined 'recently' which if it is the same as 'shortly' could have been 7 months ago. Can't see anywhere where it says they joined in 'May'
KPMG are accountants, consultants and tax specialists so they could be just advising the BOD to speed things up. Nothing to do with 'Tax' - again where is 'Tax' mentioned apart from the KPMG web site.

BR shorts will be a mixture of 'true' leant out shorts and hedges against longs. There will also IMO be some synthetic shorts mixed up within them to play with the SP
Not so much a problem but the issue arises when they cash out,. If THG exit the small cap when there is a rebalance and Mcap drops below minimum criteria they will sell the longs to the shorts and the net results being no net gain or loss so those expecting a rise due to shorts closing at that time will be disappointed. If however they need to close asap as offer comes in then they will close in a nano second as the offer lands and cash out before the rerate. The percentage they hold as shorts will fluctuate as the longs fluctuate, the higher the longs they hold the more shorts they will have and vice versa. Problem is now they do not need to report form 8.3's but atleast if the shorts stay above 0.5% you will be able to see them move up and down.
GLA
I see BR have got their teeth into the share and now under the radar as no longer required to submit 8.3's
Shorts increased on 17th and probably more today.

GLA - IMO keep some dry powder as things could become interesting as BR squeeze as many PI into submission and add in the mix the wider market volatility and there maybe some cheaper entry points. Not that 73p isn't cheap anyway - Crazy!
No need to attack me Kira - I feel the pain you are in - it was at 145p, sits at 81p now

CAW, I think you might have made a mistake on that one, MM has already indicated he will sell and price he will take, which is a min. of £1 a share more than it currently is. but it's your view which you're entitled to of course, in selling out, but I'd say the odds are quite high for that one, more so than for a quick sale here. MM is a different type of an investor and acquirer, he doesn't look to stay in long term, the data analytics and customer base on that is worth a fortune! It isn't the same here. Two different beasts! IMO.
