Hope you're right Jabberba, this looks perfect for the world's waste problems...
You don't Prospector, that's why it's called forward planning, and this would have been discussed prior to the four holes being drilled. Effectively it is a site, there's nothing there apart from workers..
Itsaduster, so then surely after observation of the first hole you would proceed with additional drilling to incorporate the 10 holes?
I imagine he's come down to the 3% threshold, save a TR1 and not spooking the market. Don't be put off, this will rise again in anticipation of the E.G results, and I think the holes are only 2-250m deep, so could be a fairly decent turnaround. If these results yield nothing then I think we're all wasting our time because the DSG is supposedly the holy grail.. GLA
Bassguy, you asked a genuine question a few days back about shares being filtered back into the rise, and you were correct. Unfortunately you should have followed your gut instinct as I think the price was still around 2p. Do as much reading as you can, especially regarding trading, you may not want to trade but its handy knowing what the others are doing. I'm reading a book called red notice, about hermitage capital CEO Bill Browder, and some of the goings on dealing with investing in Russia. He has a broker feed $1 Billion back into the market over a 2 month period in tranches so nobody suspected and drove the price down on him, interesting reading.. GLA
Spy master, I have a 1.5 finish on I.G and 1.49 on HL so to be honest I'm not quite sure where we are sitting.. GLA
Mickey, I hope you're right, the bottom line is everyone is invested to make money. Some see fit to trade, take profit, stay with it, whatever way suits you is what's best, if the end result is the same, then that's all that matters... GLA
Prospector, when the core is removed gold is visible. The drilling is supervised by a member of the team. That rig has to be moved off site to another location and then brought back at an additional cost because transportation costs, so my friend I think it is you who doesn't quite understand. When a job is done in any industry a provisional sum can always be built into the equation for additional works which very often happens, particularly in the building industry. If you're drilling bedrock, concrete, bungaroosh or whatever it is, things can take more or less time, but whichever way it all amounts to time, and that time is money and wear and tear...
Then they could of factored in to carry on drilling at havieron on the proviso of decent results with the subby that they're using to drill rather than have to get them back in 3 months time as an after thought, so I'm sorry but I don't concur with that thought. Listen the money has to come from somewhere, I don't fear a placing because GGP's aim is to get a Major involved who will stump up cash and that will solve the issue, but to do that, concrete results are needed. People can come on here and pump this stock to high heaven, it's easy to see through with the majority. People are 'allegedly' buying in on so many dips i'm surprised there's any free float left, it's laughable, but let's keep it real for the real people, and that means concrete results, not waffle on we may have this or that... That's not helping anyone.. GLA
Dimvestor, great reply. I think we have to understand also that this drilling is probably being forwarded from some of next years costings, and therefore the fully funded til middle of next year may have shrunk slightly, but I personally I would rather they struck while the iron is hot and got on with it. This is a crucial 6 months, good luck to everyone.
Hi Dada, yes mate, it was just a safety net in the end. It seems that this share will peak and trough more than most through it's life cycle, I don't see any reason not to take a gain every now and then.. GLA
Prospector, the reasons you've stipulated are the reasons I invested, and will re invest. I first bought this at 0.29, increased and then sold as I could see at times this would be volatile, so I took profit and reinvested it here. I've done my fair share of research, on this industry as a whole, and I'm also aware that some stocks have a p & d reputation. The Newmont situation was an unsavoury moment, and not one to forget, but I understand the goings on and it goes on in business across the world. Havieron is gearing up for another 10 holes, where are they in comparison to the previous, and why are we only drilling at 600m when we had mineralisation at end of hole and 'possibly' for a further 300m after that?? The E.G drill results in a few weeks will tell us all we need to know about what this company stands for, I sincerely hope it's a positive outcome.. GLA
Wackmeister, shame you won't read this if you've filtered me, you're a prat. Who cares about ecr, the one hole yielded results, the other three did not. The ten holes at havieron will test what? We're not sure of the location, it hasn't been disclosed. Newcrest drilled to the north, south and west with minimal results. If E.G yields nothing then the bottom will fall totally out of this share because after the Newmont build up it will become farcical.
I don't see it tanking Needmoneynow, it will find a bottom, probably around 1.4 or 5, as bassguy says E. G results on the horizon will be a bit of a retainer. Wouldn't be surprised if Beetham had been derisking a few over the last day or so, and get back in once this bounces again... Then we'll see what Newmonts DSG is made of.. GLA
Bassguy, I followed suit after the Newmont debacle, and can see similarities in the trading patterns today. I don't see it as weak, I call it using your noddle, and I can only personally see this going down tomorrow, I may be totally wrong and I certainly don't want the share to fail. I'm interested to see where these new holes are going to be drilled because the original 1000 x 1000 strike area has shrunk considerably after those results.. GLA
Ken, the largest open pit mine is 1.2km deep, why do we have to go underground?
Goit, hole 1 is on the periphary, the other three are allegedly more central of the anomaly, so in theory should be equally as good or better. 500 code meaning gap the stock for the conspiracy theorists.... GLA
Just reading that Artemis is drilling what will be the largest hole at depth in the whole of Australia, 3300m. Testing for base metals, cobalt, gold and diamonds at an estimated cost of $1.4 million. Gives us an idea on the drilling costs involved, and this also depends on how difficult the terrain is.. GLA
Working the share against itself, 2.05 to buy with the ask at 2.08.. Momentary glitch.. GLA
Got 3p on IG for 100k Lol
