looks like the sells at 1.65 are buys.....
normally a couple of hours, there's a coffee shop just across from the east India club If anyone has to arrive slightly early.
Starvation of volume, then a breakout coming... GLA
The share price must be due to bounce once they've finished 'accumulating', there's a Doomonger in the house...
Fair enough mate, all entitled to a view. He said that all his assets are in gold and not equities. Physical or junior miners, and one exploration play, which he quoted 'a risky business'. Many, many other so called experts are bullish on gold, and silver to follow suit on the tailcoat of gold, including Ray Dalio of Blackrock because of the state of the world economy and the possible need to start distributing 'helicopter' money.
Morning all, that's interesting you say that timid, as I watched an interview with Frank Giustra a couple of days back. He's the former owner of goldcorp, bought out by Newmont, a Canadian billionaire who has spent his whole life in or around mining. His opinion is that the future of the industry will be in the junior companies, and the gold price is set to break $1900 next year some time! I guess he has a starkly contrasting view from you....
Mercedesman, at 10million ozs this is 30% of a 15 billion dollar resource out of the ground. I'm sure an investment bank would be happy to front GGP 30 % of the mining costs for a windfall of that proportion. GLA
Smoke and mirrors Matty, this is only going one way and that is up. Numis base a 4p target on 300 x 200 x 800, this is much wider and deeper. Hang tough and you'll be rewarded. GLA
Someone is piling them up quick this afternoon!
Does it say how many holes PG? Are the these projects being fast tracked for some particular reason?!!
I think you hit the nail on the head there Prospector, written all over it.... GLA
One thing all the the soothsayers on twitter managed to do was get out when we were left holding the baby when Newmont walked so they get info trickled down from somewhere.
Nice one Paddy, and keep up the good work, it's pleasurable to read someone's constructive effort rather than some of the complete pumped up rubbish over the last 3 years on here, and some are still doing. ATB
Paddy, you're putting some great posts up regarding research. Out of interest where did the confidential file of Newcrests findings in 1995 pop up from? Lol
Has anyone thought that maybe we are priming scallywag ready for another continuation of our ongoing relationship with newcrest for them to get the drills in the ground once Havieron is proven? GLA
Newcrest Is THE most economical miner, is up on profit and is up 40% cash in hand. What's not to like about a tie In with Newcrest?! I'm sure It was mentioned at the Denver Gold Forum that Cadia is working out at $136 an oz for Block cave and they're mining at 1200m. Havieron would be transported to Telfer which would Incur further costs understandably, but everything seems to be there for this to be a success, just need the quantity!
Mercedesman I'm with you, it's just a matter of being patient now while they try every trick In the book to part you with your shares. Just need these next few holes to come up trumps as they infill and this will start to pick up speed.
Hi Bassguy, did exactly the same as you and remember that day well! Still makes me wary with this share when I think of that, but had to get back in as it now has far more substance, albeit the sp is unpredictable at the mo, and the volume is nothing compared to then but looks like a good bet now compared to then. Dip your toe back in and good luck! GLA
Evening all, Numis gave us a guideline of 4p on 3moz, so with 10m aren't we looking at more like 12p?
Evening all, great news last night from the latest results. I just wonder why we sell ourselves short in my opinion on this asset? All the time we hold the 30%, it's 30% of whatever comes out the ground if we hold onto it. If 10m ozs, it's a $15bn asset at full market value on today's prices. Newcrest is block caving at something like $136 oz I think they quoted, so that's a hell of a lot of profit! I understand they are doing the leg work and have overheads, but we have moved it on to this point prior to drilling. It has to be worth more than 300million. GLA
Hey! I hope you're right, thanks for all the info you're putting up...
