Firstly it is a major blow to see the timescales pushed back I can't deny that but with hindsight the deal with Amed now becomes much clearer - with 13 million pound already invested they wouldn't be offering interest free loans of another million quid unless they were pretty confident that this project was going to succeed and clearly the Sept15 deadline is far more relevant than the 19th December one as a lot people expected. For me a big plus is the chairman's confidence in doing a deal with one of those Chinese suitors is pretty high Imo as the tone throughout his statement is upwardly bullish about everything and I can't believe he would pitch it in that manner if that wasn't the case - he hasn't done before to my knowledge - The up shot being that the Board have now been given a definitive road map of what has to happen before any of interested parties come on board - Its not just the DFS anymore they want the full pack all the MOUs and all the pilot test work fully completed the mining contract the lot and you can't blame them can u ? So when it's all resolved thats when the ultimate decision to invest will be made - and in the current climate why would it be any different - it's a no brainer in some respects . As a long termer in Baobab I share with everyone the frustration the protracted timescale brings but having digested all that info today u realise the actual fundamentals and the proposition on offer is bloody mint - When u then add the rapid development and growth of Mozambique as Peakview has stated on countless occasions it makes this a very attractive play for the big boys and it will happen one day - furthermore a lot of things may have changed in another 6 months whether that be pricing ,further strengthening of the global economy etc so it may work to our advantage after all - sadly the delay will result in share price weakness but the graph has indicated something for months - as for the independent auditors comments I think u will find all companies in the same position as Baobab (currently loss making) will always include such statements given the Companys potential need to raise further cash and having diddly squat of income rolling in - but keep the faith boys we will get there seasons greetings and GLA, in 2015
