U could be right mate but I for one hope it's sooner than that fella -but based on what we know - in that most of the admin staff are all off on their holidays in August - I'm supposing there is no hope and Bob hope chance of an RNS for at least another 10 days so yes u could be right The good news is that at least we know from the pictures and web updates it has to be very close to lift off now surely ? I hope I'm not bleating when I say even I am at a total loss to understand how news flow can be so minimalistic at such a defining period -it's unbelievable in truth- although I'm still utterly convinced that once it does start rolling - the sp will finally re rate at long last - I confess that my memory is not good as it was but I do vividly recall on numerous occasions the bold prediction " we are just days away from production " which is now almost 2 months overdue by my reckoning - So that clearly proves to me young malkis that actually, hardly anyone can predict anything on Aim with any real accuracy - and likewise it also proves why anybody has as much idea as the next man so always go with ur gut instinct - cos more often than not it's ur best call - have a great weekend fella

Yep it's probably taken me 5 -7 years to learn that - and a fair few Bob down the pan in the meantime and serious grief from the missus to boot lol but u like to think u live and learn and it is very true I see shares now I still have an interest in at just over a penny or 2 and still waiting for permits or licenses 2-3 yrs after putting in for them and sure there could be a big uplift as is discussed daily but reality is they are still a mile away from producing and unless a JV happens or someone invests a major shed load and I mean a major shed load to get any where near to where we are right now - meaning it could take what would feel like another lifetime - with the inevitable result on share price - u can see it now - take Sirius a fantastic project there - but a classic example of market value and share price with that as opposed to here - crazy in truth if only on the basis of how long and how much is that going to take to get to where we are now ? The bottom line is u pay ur money u take ur chance -seize the opportunity of a lifetime in the lifetime of the opportunity that's what i was always taught so if anyone was to think they can do better elsewhere in the interim and then come back later with more wonga then good on you and good luck my friend as it's a big call as the key issue with all such decisions is timing and like most things in life timing is everything - so good luck fellas hope it comes off for u but TL makes some good points there to at least consider - but AT B and enjoy this sunshine whilst u can Good weekend to all

Afternoon fellas - just wondering if one of U learned chaps can help me with a query ive been asked about stocks and shares Isas ? Let's say I have a fully loaded Isa for the current tax year ie £15.2k figure was paid in after 6/4/15 and then used to buy Lloyds shares Since then Lloyds have now declared they wlll pay out a dividend which they intend to do to all shareholders in Sept 15 - Q is can the dividend go into the Isa or not bearing in mind the max contribution has been made - and if not and I had chosen the reinvestment option what happens then ? Fella I agree with virtually all u say regarding this share particularly with the forward direction and huge potential it clearly has both short term and long term - it will happen one day soon -but it is also fair to say that as an almost continual buyer even since the open offer U have openly admitted to topping up even at prices somewhat higher than where we are now -as I have tbh - but on doing so I never imagined it wud go this low - as if I did I would certainly be buying now at this price as that way I'd be buying far more for my wonga wouldn't i ? Like many on here I was hoping the upgrade would have arrived by now and that Filip alone would hopefully been enough to boost the so which would then carry us thru to the production announcement - so I can see where Eddie is coming from - it's just utter exasperation as we all know we are so close yet still seems so far But the upgrade hasn't arrived has it and no imminent sign of it either that I can see - and yes I fully understand why (due to the Tsx 45 day ruling) but in a way even that is a bit bizarre to me in that the company adviser / lawyer / legal dept didnt either point this out or been aware of it - as we've been drilling for months and months and U wud have thought in truth someone somewhere would have known about that ruling - even if we had never been here before - the simple truth is - that that one single factor has been a huge catalyst in the price fall IMO but the big question right now is -how low will it go or will U just continue buying ? Me I'm now in the Malkis camp I think he's spot on - is the sage of S.O.T

Not invested here now but just had to say that news today is so sad and I am genuinely shocked to hear it - didn't know him obviously but for me here was a thoroughly decent well respected highly regarded totally committed and extremely talented man whose contribution to both Ormonde and mining generally was immense - ur legacy will live on my friend - so RiP great guy and sincere condolences to all connected with him

No problem mate it's always good to hear some good news now and again and like u say u may have timed it slightly better but a tidy profit is a tidy profit and that's what we are all here for - wish u well mate hope the upward trend continues for u

Just foll on from last few discussions - I happened to notice the Sunday times yesterday had an article about commodities and falling prices and the massive effect its had on Anglo American ,Rio tinto Lonmin Glencore to name a few and they haven't done anything different or dropped any major gaffes that I'm aware to cause that impact except for being caught up in the mining tsunami that has cravats ted the entire sector as the plummeting oil price did likewise to most oil stocks -none more so than Afren who today are sadly on the brink without a minor miracle -so it's pretty frightening generally when u look a lot closer - gold now half its price from its highs silver two thirds down and copper In some respects holding up ok compared to that shambles -so it's no surprise really a junior miner trying to shake off its plethora of hard luck stories and missed deadlines (despite some unbelievable progress in the last 12 mths ) is treated with a tad of caution -particularly as the copper price slump has arrived with what appears to be the comic blessing of the fast show character - Unlucky Alf - but we are not on our own are we ? Look at Amc -there's another totally bizarre one for u -they were 37 p a month or so ago altho nothing major has changed as far as I'm aware but the share price has halved and was 16p earlier -same with Xtr (extract ) it was 0.46 not long ago a couple of little wobbles and a fund raising now at circa 0.25a drop of 40 odd percent - bloody ridiculous - but that's how it is - nothing's really immune in any of these sectors - it's right across the board - Caza NOP PCI AFR TYM GKP There's loads of em - but what of the future ? Where do we stand compared to a lot of these that's the big Q ? I know where I would rather be based on where we sit right now that's for sure and Even at 4.25 which is nothing other than absurd surely it can only be a matter of time with what's immient - but how long have we been saying that ? Tbh this is a different landscape now so we can only hope fu great guys can't we fellas ? GLA

It's hard not to think that mate I have to say - I always thought that the recent share issue would deflate the shareprice initially irrespective of funds usage as just the sheer volume was simply too huge to avoid it IMO but once that was done and dusted I also have to admit I thought the resource upgrade would have been here by now and the build up to production would gradually see the sp move well above where it is at present - but therein lies the answer - there's been no upgrade as yet and not a smidgeon of either PR or newsflow of any kind to stimulate share buying of any note -so if we then add the copper price dying on its arse all at the same time - then u end up precisely where we are now - a lot lower than the offer price - so well done to all those who called it -fair play to u fellas take a bow However all is not lost is it ? as the evidence we can glean from the photos and shareholder communication channels that surely the game changing news must almost be with us - and as such the hitherto non existent and much maligned PR machine finally gets into full swing either just before or certainly after the AGM - as If not -then i could see this going sub 4p - which is bloody ridiculous furthermore if that did happen then I suspect Tracylied will be having to issue a holding RNS if he keeps topping up at those stupid prices - lol - and why not - truth is I'm still totally convinced that this will happen but these past 7 years seem like 77 just at this minute - have a great weekend fellas GLA

I think this has to be a factor as the market price for anything is surely the current reflection of both sentiment and supply/demand conumdrum so it has to play a part particularly when it's close to a 6 year low otherwise why else would it be where it is ? - But on the plus side people far cleverer than me have clearly proved that the economics here get radically rerated with a hike upwards towards the 3$ Mark which should provide anyone with real justification for being invested here - if nothing more than that alone based on the current resource figures. Ah yes the resource upgrade - I admit like plenty of others I guess to thinking this was likely to be pretty much anytime soon as for me this would be a key driver in moving the sp -but having just reread the RNS s going back to the Feb operational update - there are a couple of positive statements re drilling progress - but I can't find any mention or clues anywhere as to when it will be released - other than feedback or comments attributed to Albert at the Egm and documented on other BBs so whilst it should be worth the wait as even my cat knows it's potential by now - it may not be as close as Tracylied suspects - which would be a blow because seeing the share price at this level is so disappointing -but that's investing for u and investing in Aim companies as the facts dont lie -it's a hard slog but we will get there one day -exciting times ahead with production imminent !GLA

Mate it's been pretty clear U have had a bearish view on this share for some time and understandably so but that was then a land of broken dreams and promises and u were right to have that view - I have been there with u - but this is a different animal now the landscape is much changed and I would never go as far as saying it won't ever be like that again - as I never say never -but this current scenario and based solely on solid facts such as the permits the Phoenix like transformation of the site the financing all secured the imminent upgrade the off take agreements the start of production and cash generation and revenue - and a market cap of only £150 m it's a total no brainer and a defo fill ur boots scenario to me and has been for some time - but only time will prove who is right my friend I guess

Just happened to be tinkering (Ranieri -ing) with buy and sell prices and bizarrely to sell 25k and above - the sale price was 4.25 but surprisingly, on further Raniering I could sell up to 24999 at 4.4p - strange but I kid u not - so I did - but as it happens my real aim was to top up my holding so when I saw that the Emed gods had enabled me to buy back 55k at only 4..27 - well it was like a sign to do so and the rest is history as they say - conclusion being there's gold in them tha' hills lad - or copper in this case lol - on a more formal note - that's, another step closer today one would hope - we are getting closer by the day -Good luck to all on this board -I hope ur patience will be rewarded very soon

Ur right fella it's true what u have said but at this precise moment we are set to make the biggest jump of all which is moving thru the transition of going from an explorer with potential to an actual producer which is IMO the biggest step of all - not only that it's fully financed with no imminent need for more funding and once the copper starts coming out of the ground it means that we move from being cash consuming to cash generating and if it doesn't move now I guess it never will and I will have made a major financial blooper and if so - so be it but I don't see it that way tbh - we shall soon find out and I will gladly admit I was wrong - we shall soon find out fella pretty soon I reckon

Too right fella I agree totally but on a slightly separate issue given I do admit to being totally perplexed as to why anybody who has been waiting for so long for this to finally come home to roost -(unless it's an absolute pressing need for the cash of course -) would sell significant numbers of shares at this moment in time - given what we know and are expecting imminently - it makes no sense to me at all - weird !!

U do wonder don't u ? The share price rises foll the AGR financing and rightly so and then almost immediately the sp starts drifting presumably as a result of the final sign off being some time off - but not dropping 25% in a week to around 7.35-7.75 then surprise surprise NOG come along offering 11p with a gazumpa - 11p is a joke bid - it's like the bloke at the garage offering u 2 grand for ur car and u saying "no - ur joking aren't u ? I'm selling all the car not just the wheels " - u have to admire their opportunistic cheek I guess
