To buy 5000 is 142 to sell 5000 141.3 that's very unusual for this share - can't be too much of a liquidity issue at the minute based on that

Well the one I use says it's 2.97 a pound ATM so if that trend continues it will be a good start to the week ..that's another 5 million euros since Friday ...get in there !!!

For once in a long time my decision to offload some of my long term hold Ftse 100 stock and invest here has actually turned out on the right side whether it be temp or otherwise so the 10k trade at 134 was defo a buy but there again why do these trades not show at the time with most of them showing up much later .. I realise it happens and is possibly within the remit but it occurs far too often imho

The rise in the copper price to almost 3 dollars a pound helped by the stalling of production at the 2 Glencore mines in Zambia and added to the fact we are now in the middle of qtr 3 producing at full capacity and reducing costs at the same time and with lots of positive data hopefully imminent but here we are at still only 4.5p old money ...it's a very strange situation even if the price is holding up ok ...but that shouldn't be the only upside should it now ffs ...

That 100k isn't u selling out I hope mr o is it ? my guess it's Tracylied or whatever his name was when he posted on here ..after all he has doubled his money from all them he bought at 61p or so he said ..unless he lied of course lol

It's so weird this share (but so are a lot of things and so are a lot of people Well I know one in North Korea ...but i digress it's all to do with the copper price ..it's a pure copper play is Atym that's what everyone says even Alberto says it ,so it must be then ,ok let's just take a closer look Not so long back copper was at 2.50-2.60 it's now 2.94 so circa 40 cents higher which equates to what is it - 35-40 million euros more in bottom line profit to the annual figures ... but where is that reflected in a shareprice of 136 ? The current reason for the rise in copper demand is current and future supply constraints coupled with a huge rise in demand brought about by countries like India china etc and the move to greener energy i.e. electric cars yep all makes sense So here we are in full production and looking to increase it to circa 100k tons via 2 projects and alright we are not entirely there yet but making all the right noises and making profits unlike a lot of other wannabes so if hadn't gone up today I'm not sure what would have to happen to see this get any where near its market value ... Finally if ur average is still over £2 it's totally understandable why u must be so bloody frustrated with this share ...I just don't get it I admit it beggars belief

I just had a look at the last time copper was around the current price which was around May/June 2015 as it was on its downward trend in those days but interestingly the Atym/Emed price was around 5p or 150 new currency which isn't too far away from where we are now in truth but interestingly when copper was at or above 3$ in circa Feb-Aug 2014 we were mostly sitting around the 7p old money level which is equivalent to around 200-220 in current terms progress wise and in lots of other ways too the company is unrecognisable from where it was then to where it is now but it's always been muted by many posters that when copper gets back to 3$ a pound ...it could well be the tipping point we are all hoping for The small step from 2.87 to 3$ is not far away one hopes but a rise from £1.30 to £2.00 seems a long way off to me at this juncture but if the theory is true and copper does make it to 3$ and the share price did miraculously finally pop ...I won't be complaining that's for sure ... Ur spot on lads but the reality is some people have huge holdings in this share and a lot of them keep a certain figure and trade the rest and that's what's happening now we know some people bought all the way down to 110 and at 135 that's a 25p gain and realistically with no short term imminent news to drive the price forward (in theory) so what happens ? ..they sell a fair few and then the price drops accordingly and the process starts all over again ..with the tiny numbers being traded it results in a 6p drop on virtually zip despite copper despite all the millions of reasons why it should be going in the opposite direction .. one day maybe

But if that £10k was a sell at 128 at 8.05 after that update it's no wonder this share price struggles to get off the ground ...incredulous but look at that now 10 p a share worse off an hour later if it was

Spot on fella that is , i can sell the whole lot at 130 - I can sell 10k plus at 132.6 but can't buy a bean only through a negotiated trade ..if copper does stay or go higher maybe the delayed RNS if it's everything we are hoping for may be a good thing after all as this has to be on the radar pretty soon despite -Astor trafigura -the 5k seller- the finance factor -but as Martin Tyler said Aguerrooooooooo I swear you will never witness this ever again - drink it in eat it up and buy Atym ... well not the last bit ...but lest we forget copper looks like it could be the new garlic bread...Just hope I'm still here if it does

Apparently SH got another email late last night saying they were having tech difficulties getting the Rns out so as he says as they don't do fridays it could be Monday now ... he's also right when he says "u couldn't make it up " no u couldn't ...ffs

Last Friday copper was 2.73 a few minutes back the live chart was saying just 3 trading days later it's 2.884 so the potential impact to bottom line for an actual producer ffs coupled with the latest raft of news items all pointing to the rather large need for copper, one would surely expect that a similar share in similar set of circumstances would start to motor given all that ........ yes of course it will ...lol

Wow i can't get on my normal feed but just noticed on 2 other charts copper is now 2.84 that's one helluva rise that is ...probably 9-10 million onto the annual bottom line if it stayed like that ...why anyone would be selling I do not know

With copper strengthening to 2.75 last time I looked a couple of minutes ago and the effect a 1 cent rise has on Atalaya s profit stream over the year around £900k it is a total joke how this can only be 1.23 ...as it was still this price or probably less when the Cu price had dropped back closer to $2.50 a pound ...and yet the correlation to the effect on the company's value is huge ...it does make u wonder

Good post fella copper nearly 2.73 and a mention for Atym in the FT of all places .. if u truly believe that electric cars are gonna formulate the future in the next decade at the levels suggested surely the case for copper has to be humungus and as such if this qtrs figures are anything like expected the case for Atalaya must get more compelling by the day ...The real value is there for all to see but it seems the blinkers are still on ... but the reality is if people actually do believe in the copper story they must surely stay with this but if they don't they inevitably will sell and move on when they hit their tipping point The facts indicate the potential here is scary but the tortuous journey we've all been through and the scores of milestones that were gonna change everything but in reality yielded zippo so far in Sp terms means that there will always be somebody wanting to sell out of here and with such low volumes that's why we are still scraping about at 4p old money but one day rover it may just happen ... let's just hope it's soon ...have a great weekend fellas
