The United Kingdom has announced that HyNet, in the North West, has been given the green light, unlocking the decarbonisation of industry and growth across the North West and North Wales industrial heartlands.

It is part of a £22bn pledge, over the next 25 years, for projects to capture and store carbon emissions from energy, industry and hydrogen production, focused on two “carbon capture clusters” on Merseyside and Teesside, which will create thousands of jobs, attract private investment and help the UK meet climate goals.

HyNet said it will position Britain as a world leader in the global net-zero economy. The creation of 6,000 construction jobs and long-term operational roles will build a strong base of skills for those wanting to retrain as well as those beginning their career.

Brilliant news Finally announced Friday 4th Oct 2024 .... PROTOS WOWSER !!

This applies not only to large infrastructure projects such as carbon capture and storage with offshore caverns to store the carbon dioxide, but also to more niche applications such as that offered by Powerhouse.

In the announcement the government revealed the first projects eligible for funding within the carbon capture “Clusters”. The Protos plastics to hydrogen project sits within the HyNet cluster of the north-west England, which now stands to be a focus for decarbonisation in the UK.

You can submit a brilliant RNS update ie technical centre as it drops , there are some really good RNS on AIM but the share drops ( batterd Aim ) .

Our drop is linked due to a seller ( whites ) I expect a TR1 when they he she has finished as slow selling takes time .
