Agree Jerone it always happens to me also, but as a keen follower of VAST the next few months will be the pay dirt - IMO obviously.

Each to their own, I have been here a while, I get frustrated about VAST also, but sell out now when it is all starting to happen is the last thing on my mind. BP is important now but it will be a small part of VAST in a year or two's time IMO. The RomGov have said in writing we will get the association, AP has said soon and after all the delays I think he knows it this time! I have now been invested around 4 years and I can say with all honesty VAST has never been in a better position - ever!

That makes sense - no way could any cash be raised for the Zim exchange presently - they seem to be getting it re. the economics of rebuilding the economy after the disastrous previous couple of decades

torchy - I understand what you are getting at, but it is tricky being a CEO - AP got the s/p up from .35 to .7 (with no news) when he took over PR last autumn with his positivity. I think he underestimates timelines on occasion but I am sure he will moderate that in future - I am just glad we have a CEO that shows he believes in the company.

torchy - VAST received a letter last October from the RomGov stating that they would grant the association with in effect 60 working days - they are in default - not AP being over positive atall.

That sums it up Sandy - AP is very positive right now and he has control of VAST and that will help matters IMO.

Watcher I have asked AP about this - the RomGov will not issue any licence they will just give Baita SA permission to grant us the association of the licence as they are the shareholders of Baita SA.

Just to add to Lee's post there seems to be a slight error - Baita SA which is a RomGov owned company (and is not in receivership) was given the BPPM licence to hold when Mineral Mining (the company VAST bought) which was in the process of liquidation and owns BPPM. The problems have been due to Baita SA overcharging for electricity on the care and maintenance of BPPM (amongst other things) - the court cases explain this to some extent. There is a lot more to this though which we will probably never know and it has taken AP a long time to untangle and resolve.

Sardy, sorry if I came over that way it was not my intention, however it does concern me the power people like Baron have (and TW for instance) to influence people and there is definitely respect for large buyers for instance Bobster who again I don't know but seems a genuine and nice guy. The point I was trying to make was that this does not mean he knows any more than anyone else, he just has more cash to throw at VAST. Basically just cos you have cash does not give you inside info which is what some posters infer if a big buy pops up - "he knows something" etc. - no he probably doesn't!

I read others POV and take note of what they say, but I have always had a problem with non regulated posters giving out advice to the mass market of lets face it naive punters - why do they do it if not for manipulation of others? The problem is they build up "followings" - they may benefit those people or not it depends on their honesty and luck - it was like twitter on these BB's a few years ago P&D teams operating and their followers diving in - mini ponzi's if you like - twitter is the new place and it goes on there now. However I have no gripe against any individuals as I don't read them in any case and Baron may be a top guy, but I don't know him so cannot comment.

Sardy - I was not having a go at anybody, including Baron or people who take notice of him - I was just saying that I do not understand why people take notice of them any more than any poster on any platform? - some do think they have knowledge that we do not and I was just saying that is complete ******!

Pepco - IMO things change - I don't see the BP licence as being a big deal now, though I still think it will come soon - the other stuff will supercede BP and though it is a great acquisition it's small potatoes in what's to come

It amuses me that people think that Bobster or Baron know more than anyone else who is interested in VAST, just cos they are big players. I am not knocking big investors but they don't know anymore than a PI who spent time last Saturday talking to AP and asking the right questions. I am not casting dispersions on anyone but having a load of cash does not make you more right about an investment than someone who has a small amount and the influence these twitterati have (as they used to on these BB's) is ridiculous - DYOR - seriously!

The way the s/p has behaved I wonder if some think that! LSE has been rather intermittent for me today so I have missed a load of chat - :-)

ORT - please explain why?

We should remember the statement made in the RNS last October - the RomGov have agreed a pathway and a timescale which they are in default of - however AP remains confident that we will be receiving the licence association soon - I believe that was the feedback from those who attended the investor event last weekend. AP has put an awful lot of time, energy and his own money into BP he will get the licence IMO and I am 100% certain!

Has anyone who had an account with the above heard from the liquidator regarding the shs they hold?
