FTB - its not an "informal MOU" - it's signed and they are forming a jointly owned SPV - there is a real chance of getting something out of the diamonds. Distracted torchy? - the raison d'�tre of VAST was the diamonds - that is why the company was formed

torchy - the diamonds are tangible - we still own the original licences, do you really think the BoD would waste time and money if there was not a real chance that we may get something out of the diamonds?. Also it is not just about Marange there are several other large diamond fields in Zim that BOD/VAST presumably have data on as they have informed us by RNS.

Dodge - I think if you are a PI glancing at the Q1 figures they will not make you want to buy VAST - OK we know the huge potential but we spend a load of time researching VAST - new punters don't and from their perspective Q1 was not great. the L should grab some attention maybe that will have an effect.

I agree piscio however the next piece of news will tip the balance and with or without the L, the s/p will rise. I think it will be the L next - I sincerely hope so as I am so sick of talking/hearing/discussing it, I just want it out of the way

Pepco - Zagra is not JORC estimated but it has been assessed using the Russian system which is far more robust - they actually dig mines to see what's there not just drill and sample (though they do that as well). We know that VAST has all the historical data regarding Zagra and whilst we have not seen it I am sure any potential JV partner has - they don't need a JORC estimate, it is just an international standard, they will know how much ore is down there and whether it's worth doing the full JORC estimate.

Nick Hatch is an analyst and expert on assessing the viability and possibility of financing mining projects. VAST does not need this guy unless they are planning on acquiring many future projects IMO. Nick is obviously highly experienced and has respect in the industry, which in turn will make our company be taken more seriously. AP was only talking about II's yesterday, we may start to be taken seriously by them in the near future. The progress of this company since January has been phenomenal - it has to be reflected in the share price soon!

I don't think BP has any effect on the prospects of a good JV for Zagra - VAST does not need cash for day to day expenses IMO. Don't we have Mercurier for that sort of thing? - a $100bn turnover company didn't partner VAST for little Manaila did they? Zagra is a monster there are a few AIM companies without a licence the size of that with a serious MC. BP will be in production near term - AP intimated this on several recent podcasts. It's all looking good, if you look beyond the effing licence!

Europe according to AP on that podcast - several of us speculated that this was the case over a year ago, a JV on that would be massive, possibly $2bn's worth of copper in the center of Europe - what's that worth to the MC/SP.

Not on the company's website and any holding over 3% should be notified to the company - I don't recall seeing that name ever on a VAST RNS?. In fact there have not been any non directors holding over 3% for several years from memory.

Was that person ever Kingsley? - as far as I am aware there has never been a holdings RNS for them, I thought it was an error on the broker note.

I agree Fantasy - the Rom figures were always going to be affected due to the prestripping carried out until end of Jan. As you say going forward production from Manaila will be much improved with better stripping ratio and Cu/Zn grades. The figures are basically as we have been informed by AP, we took a lower production over the winter (which is low in any case due to cold weather) to ensure overall yearly production increases. Going forward the Manaila Q2 figures should be very good and PP is excellent.

prempunn - I don't see any posters on the BB ramping to get others to lose money - basically most think VAST will make us better off - we could be wrong - unlikely IMO, but DYOR as the saying goes!

Well the licence association is a moot point (I still think it will add to the s/p moderately). However there is no chance revenues from BPPM are priced in at around $20mil per annum with low costs that should generate some serious profit IMO and will start a few months after the association is signed off.

I agree about the s/p, there was clearly a buy order Friday but is it completed? - MM's don't have any mates - they just make money by volume, up or down - the only reason they want to keep it down is so they have control - the higher the s/p the less influence they have as they need a bigger position to control it.
