Kingsley - Zagra will be unaffected by the new laws as is ESM - I think they are mainly about transfer of ownership of existing mines - Zagra is a straightforward greenfield site and should be relatively smooth. The RomGov are actively dealing with the mining sector now which is great - AP said he wants to get in before the law changes to acquire some Remin mines, I bet he is working on it now!

Problem there Kingsley is it will be years before any production - I bet Zagra is producing before Rovina

There is absolutely zero chance of AP walking away from BPPM - he has way too much time, energy and money invested in it. IMO he is relentless, never gives up and he will succeed - I wouldn't want anyone else running VAST

I bet AP has to be a bit careful Sandy - we don't want to upset the RomGov do we? with all the Remin mines up for grabs soon ;-) I totally share your sentiment though!

No stops got triggered we are only down a couple of % - just the ebb and flow of AIM - if the company was worth an s/p .73p in Jan then it's worth more now we have more assets and the existing ones are improved. If you wanted to trade VAST you should have sold out by now and be buying back, I think we will multibag this year.

thirdman - the Q2 figures should be excellent but I think there is a lot more due than the quarterlies before the end of July - Zagra drilling, diamond news, acquisitions are possible in Rom and Zim and lets not forget the effing BP licence that will come well before then I sincerely hope!

Sure Cat, II's bring a lot to a company a bit of prestige and as you say a lump of cash. I am sure it will come in due course

Well Cat IMO II's make little difference to the way a stock is traded - VAST has about 5.1bn shs in issue and the daily trading average is probably 40 million and you can bet 90% of those trades are done by a few of the regular traders - so even if an II got 10% that would make zero difference as I think 80% of VAST shs are not traded regularly. I have also been in highly volatile stocks that have large majority II holdings - I do see the logic in it, but my experience tells me the opposite and that II's do not bring stability

That's a possibility Cat, but not at this share price - no way would AP give shares away at this level. In any case an II will want a bigger MC 2 or 3 times - possibility at 2p+ in a few months IMO

Actually Bat he mentioned there would be a small placing in a podcast and it was announced on 21 November s/p .59 it then went up to .68 on the 24th november before dropping slightly. Chance of placing - almost nil.

We are all disappointed Bat, it is not a fault of the company this time, they have had legacy issues to sort out and I sincerely believe the next 6 months will bring the rise in the S/P we all want

Bat - we have had our new CEO in place for 5 months he has already achieved good things - VAST is a different company now and if I thought I would have to wait long without progress I would sell up - I do not, I think there is a lot happening and it will be soon.

This SP is short term jeffa - we are just coming out of a downturn in copper and other base metal prices and the next peak could be the mother of them all with electric vehicles becoming prominent during the rise. VAST is sat on one of the largest copper deposits in Europe even if you discount Manaila and BPPM. Remin mines - huge polymetallic (mainly copper) mines that we have exclusive data on, we are just waiting for the right opportunity to acquire (or JV?) - AP had targeted 5, they are $100 mil+ NPV mines once recommissioned and much bigger than BPPM. Mercuria may well be interested in funding us for those IMO. Then add in Zim, the gold mines and the potential of the diamonds - at our current MC �27.5 mil - VAST is a screaming buy for what could be a huge company in 5 years. It is unfortunate the RomGov have been holding up the BPPM licence as it has stopped momentum but AP has given us a share of a gold mine in the interim for nil dilution. There is nothing wrong with VAST as a company - AP has stated - no dilution unless for exceptional acquisitions, we have a huge partner in Mercuria and we are operating in two jurisdictions who will become large players in the mining industry over the next decade.

I agree Sandy - if anything had changed regarding the licence it would have to be RNS'd as it is price sensitive info. I strongly believe we are going to be granted it at some point - hopefully soon!

You were inferring the new mining legislation needed to be in place for the RomGov to grant the licence - that is incorrect!

Thats incorrect jeffa - as stated in the RNS dated 18/10/17 - "Further to the selection of its 80% subsidiary, African Consolidated Resources SRL (AFCR) as announced on 30 August 2017, AFCR has been advised by letter that a board meeting of Baita SA was concluded on 16 October requesting its shareholder - the Ministry of Economy - to approve the association on the licence for the exploitation and processing of the polymetallic ore from the Baita Bihor SA exploitation perimeter, which contains the Vast Resources 80% owned Subsidiary AFCR Polymetallic Mining assets in Baita Plai, in compliance with all the current legal provisions." It was and is still legal to grant the association of the BPPM exploitation licence with NAMR approval - there is no need for a law change

Eastside - That is the whole point! - if mining was easy in Zim and Rom there would be no opportunities for VAST. We are acquiring the assets just at the right time in both jurisdictions - just as they start to become mining friendly and less corrupt. OK the s/p is low now but that will change soon enough.

Well the geezer did think VAST was worth a decent punt a few weeks ago (15 mil shs) and he is sticking for now so it's not bad news is it?

Sandy - I still believe it is a long shot - but the recent developments make me think the odds are getting a lot shorter
