Yes kingsley that was the plan last year but I think the positive political situation in Zim and the fact we have a new CEO has changed that, AP is obviously very positive about Zim and Rom.

I think the s/p will benefit from that news next week, the announcement late Friday would not have been seen by all, especially longer term shareholders it probably surprised everyone including MM's - let's see what happens Monday.

I agree totally thirdman - I would add a 6) he never stops working. He is an excellent entrepreneur IMO always looking to make a deal and move the company forward by making it more efficient and attracting the best people. I just wish he would be a little more guarded in his enthusiasm and timescales.

Lith - I think ASA (Asa Resource Group plc (in Administration)) would be a good fit - though haven't asked anyone from the company and they would not say in any case. There are plenty of others as well, but ASA has the biggest gold mine in Zim (Freda Rebecca), nickel mine and smelter, and several licences for diamonds and copper - as AP said today they are after non-ferrous acquisitions. It is a different scale of investment though $50mil+ probably but Mercuria have deep deep pockets and Zim is the place to invest right now so who knows? - though there are clearly others interested as can be seen on their website.

I think the 7 mil was a buy and the 6 mil a sell - if both were sells the s/p would have dropped further IMO. Maybe someone had a punt and got cold feet?

italione - I certainly am not :-) I just do a load of research and ask a lot of questions. There are limited possibilities in Zim and it is purely guesswork from me.

Not certain kingsley, but I think it will be to do with the current structure where we hold 25% of Canape and the Zim assets - AP will want more IMO. I believe Mercuria are not investing in gold presently (though that may change?) - if we are going to invest with Mercuria's cash in Zim they won't want to be part of the current structure, so a seperate one will be required. I think the next investment will be on a larger scale especially if Mercuria are the partner and after all he is in Zim next week for a BoD meeting out there and they are looking for other non ferrous metal mines according to the podcast. I have an odds on favourite for the next acquisition - so let's see.

The MM's are probably short there has been some decent buying recently and they probably expected it to drop back - let's see what happens Monday - this was decent news IMO

I have been looking at available assets in Zim for several years Eureka was one of them that seemed about the correct size. There are many more possibilities and by the sound of AP in that podcast I doubt we will have long to wait to find out.

timbo - it depends on the impact of the news - this is very good there will be other stuff in the pipeline that will be bigger IMO. The BP licence is important, but less so now

now - raising our profile in the country can only be good for certain other assets that we have claims to - the sparkly ones!

I don't think so Mustang - we know there is a lot happening AP has informed us in his podcasts - it takes time to get things done - he said we will have a good April and there is still plenty of time for that to happen. He will have been over in the UK today as the show is tomorrow so they probably had a BoD meeting, so we may get something soon - I certainly hope so!

You cannot base buys and sells on the say so of a website as they are printed buy or sell if they are above the middle of the spread or below - that means little in reality buys can be below and sells can be above mid. There is ALWAYs a matching sell to a buy and vice versa - MM's buy what PI's sell and vice versa. I do not see VAST being held down - we have not had significant news for ages - when we do the s/p will rise based on that.

starvest I believe the delays are mainly due to historical issues due to the fact the company owning BP was in liquidation prior to AP acquiring it - this resulted in unforeseen "issues" when the company was brought out of liquidation and the delays have been due to finding a way around those and no doubt other problems Baita SA/RomGov have had and the endless changes in ministers. The last time I discussed this with AP he was still very positive a solution would be found soon. I doubt we will ever know the reasons and the RomGov will certainly not tell us, they are very secretive having lived under Soviet communism for so long. The fact they are in the EU is a great thing otherwise Russia would no doubt have more influence and that could be very bad couldn't it!

DG1 - yes I still believe we will get the licence association eventually - could be tomorrow or in a couple of months but IMO AP will ensure we get it. The endless delays have not been down to him and I think he has to be careful with his relationship with the RomGov as we want a long and successful relationship with them in order to maximise the potential of acquiring the RomGov owned mines via Remin and other entities. Though like many I am certainly getting really fed up with endless delays!
