I think they are certain it's got plenty of diamonds, the pipe is in the same system to the original Marsfontein, the one that paid for itself in 3 days!. It's just a matter of how big it is.
JC is obviously working on the bulk sampling now, so the report should be out fairly soon.
gemstar - in my mind this deal with Atlas is dreadful, however it is a means to an end and reduced shareholder dilution. I bet Atlas would take a low ball repayment offer right now, so VAST probably has the upper hand - no financier wants the problem of disposing of a mine in Romania currently. Anyway they have the death spiral option after 6 months so lets see how that goes!. Bergen caught a cold with VAST and lost money and I bet Atlas want out ASAP in the current market - So VAST is in a good position and at the current s/p so are it's shareholders - the low ball s/p valuation from SP Angel several months ago was .37p and that was without finance .16p is a bargain IMO.
QED, BP has been mined for many decades - they know what the grades are. Here is the original RNS from 2014: https://www.investegate.co.uk/african-consolidated-resources--vast-/gnw/placing--proposed-acquisition--change-of-name-a---/20141210174849H8976/
Extract: Baita Bihor is a skarn deposit comprising several veins in calcareous sediments in eight distinct pipes. It is estimated, by the Company, to contain 1,800,000 tonnes of polymetallic ore (gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, tungsten and molybdenum) at 6% copper equivalent or 10g/tonne gold equivalent, at current prices, (estimated in accordance with the Russian Reserves and Resources Reporting System) within the licensed area. It has unmeasured resources in other pipes and substantial exploration upside.
Yes there was a seller hence the s/p hung around 20p, then they let it run and huge buying with 16% of all shs in issue traded today.
4 of the sells were late reported from lunch time.
Hopefully move up again tomorrow, still good value down here IMO.
Achtung thanks for your incite into INCE, however, you stated - "Are you all completely, totally sure that there is not more than one big seller?" (there are sellers look at the TR1's)
I could also say the same to you - Are you completely sure that the staff were "forced to buy shs in the open offer"? - this is an interesting concept, even more interesting you decided they had a "closed period" - not stated in the RNS that was it?
Maybe you could explain how you know these facts and no one else does?
It must be a great company to work for when you are forced as employees to buy £2mil of shs in an open offer and then not be allowed to sell the for some specified period? :-)
As you are coming up with all these great ideas, can you explain how INCE forced staff to buy shs? - isn't that illegal?
Could it be that like many other listed companies on AIM the s/p has dropped for obvious reasons (Covid-19) the business is dong OK and it will recover to 40p plus soon.
Can you explain how INCE forced staff to buy shs? - isn't that illegal, this is a law firm amongst after all and other things like tax advisory?
Seem there are a few posters coming out of the woodwork today with an agenda, to drop the s/p, You need to find some facts or reasons not just made up crap! - good luck!
Interesting so you think you will get in at a 28% discount then Wress - good luck!
I think this is going to go up soon - let's see who is correct!
I never use stop losses - all it does is trigger a sell - you will probably not get your stop loss s/p unless you guarantee it (which costs lots). Inevitably in a falling s/p it will be (10 / 20% or more!) lower than you set it
MM's manipulate the s/p to trigger stop losses and I have never witnessed such blatant MM manipulation as today - switching of bid and offer to suit them - play their game - don't sell when they want and buy whn you want if you can! - Very difficult today and it will go on into tomorrow as sure as eggs is eggs!
Well said Sandy. I cannot understand the logic of posters who are now so negative about AP but when the s/p was at .5p last year were so positive. The CEO has not changed, the fundamentals have not changed, only the s/p.
Again and again the people who deramp VAST blame AP for timelines he has not set - he is dealing with governments and politics and it never goes to schedule, if you did any research you would understand this as I do!
I also find it hilarious that anyone who is positive about VAST is railed against and insulted - the level of insult is dependent on the share price, the lower the s/p the bigger the insults!.
I wonder if those who insult other posters are actually blaming them feeling they have made a poor investment ? Grow up and take some responsibility!
Those that decry VAST fail to understand the basics of investing in AIM mining stocks - they go up and down!!!
So a suggestion to those who think they can buy into an AIM junior miner wait 2 years and it will 10 bag - it won't! it will probably go up and down - when it goes up hedge a little and sell some stock, when it goes down buy some - it's not ****ing rocket science is it!
So to all you keyboard warriors hiding behind your anonymity and constantly dissing VAST and other posters who are positive and misquoting them and lying about them I say this - take some responsibility, - your choice to buy VAST!
Shetty didn't disclose all the loans against his shs I should have said I think he did declare some
Rastuss/adzy - re shorts, if it was Shetty shorting is he likely to have informed anyone?
He/they didn't tell a soul he'd hocked his shs to all and sundry - they could have all been shorting via some instrument.
What amazes me most is that the city, banks in the UAE, EY, FCA and big institutions were all taken in by this fraud.
It was always a bottom feed for me. but I never thought for one minute it was a complete fraud and neither did MW.
Lesson learnt!
sonic you seem to understand mining and will know that it takes time to build production levels. There are usually teething problems/bottlenecks etc.. BP has been run in the past and all the infrastructure is upgraded and in place so this should be a minimum but to achieve full production will take several months IMO.
You will also understand that the mining cycle means the s/p rises more up to production, then drops off until steady cash flow is obtained - I would hate you to miss out on the 10 bag!
I am so glad you found my post interesting I do not see why we won't have BP running at pretty much full capacity by Xmas and we should have the diamond JV well before then - if these occur then I don't see why an s/p of between 1 and 1.5p is not possible by Xmas 2020.
Thats a potential 10 bag this year IMO - up to you if you invest in VAST - I am heavily!
Is this not shorters closing out by buying stock.
I cannot see any other reason why there is a market. Maybe that's why they left it open?
The share price is low so investors are understandably fed up, so let's have a go at AP then!. AP has his faults as do we all, however he has put VAST into a position where we can JV an asset worth at least a $bn (in Marange) and brought another asset worth $100 mil (when running) into the company for little expenditure - He has got rid of SSCG and the problems that deal caused which I feel not many really understand.
I obviously don't know how many junior miners you dissenters have been in but I have been in lots and VAST under the control of AP is better than most.
When he became CEO he had a very poor hand to play with, VAST was mismanaged for years and it has taken time but he has sorted most of it.
We are now in a good position, BP should be running in July and surely we will get the JV with ZCDC soon. The chat on this BB is like it was last year before the 5 bag to .5p - history repeats itself with junior miners and I hope all you naysayers don't miss out next time VAST 5 bags after waiting so long as it will!
AP was a villain last summer, a superhero last autumn and now a villain again - make your mind up!
The truth is he is an honest CEO trying to do his best for the company in which he has a big stake in - compared with many small companies VAST has done OK through the CV outbreak and can do very well going forward.
AP is not perfect but to say he is "hopeless" is completely wrong, IMO he is a great dealmaker and will deliver on BP and Marange - it just takes time with governments.
It's all set up including finance, the rewards will be worth the wait IMO.
A bit of buying before close, bargain s/p IMO
The problem is many shs are being badly hit so investors pull in their cash in times like these - I intend to buy more soon also. It's not the MM's who decide if a trade is a buy or sell it depends where it is on the spread, though they set the spread ;-)
