IMO Lombard sold a few this morning if you watch the s/p that's what they do sell down let it recover sell more, together with twitchy PI's after the recent duster caused the sell off (may have been a rumour of a duster as well- was that real though?). There have been some who have lost and some who will gain, the truth will never be known regarding the crash today, but IMO tomorrow will see a rise in the s/p.

I hope they use the cash to get direct production and revenues sooner - I cannot see why they would need this cash short term unless they are acquiring further assets - anyway we should find out soon. By the time the La Mancha cash arrives I bet they are not paying a premium. Why would they?

B2 from your post "Some are unsure why the sp has not moved north as quickly as they expected" - it has done 200% this week - there will be consolidation - the loan covenant does not justify a 90% drop from 6p+ in June. I maintain that the drop is due to II's selling due to Woodford and to a lesser extent the companies short term productivity problems .

We all make judgements - I am still very positive about TRX in the near term. It won't go up all the time, consolidated today, but IMO there is profit to be made at the current s/p.

The RNS re. the loan facility ( as you put it " the banker wants his cash back")was this Monday (not June) the s/p had already dropped to 2p by then due to II's selling. The banker didn't want all his cash back did he just a bit - was that worth a 90% drop from June? not IMO - TRX is still way over sold and will move up next week IMO

I agree this is not as strong a buy as at .6p, however the II's have been selling since June, s/p then was 6p+ .
The IIs held 73% of the shs - they sell and the s/p tanks, they do not behave like PI's once they decide to bail they smash the s/p without a care.
TRX is still undervalued IMO 2p+ is fair value and if they achieve the production they need higher.
2p+ on the cards soon IMO - not much has chainged apart from II's bailing and that may have been a consequence of woodford - get out first as they feared Woody would

Looks good to me - s/p smashed by II or (II's) bailing and with 50% of the company's shs traded today, the seller must be (close to) or out.

Especially as there was only 27% of shs in public hands ;-)

I bought some also - under the radar as you say - the cash they will get with the investment in Jan is not far off current MC - La Mancha did a similar deal with Golden star (TSX) in Aug 2018 a year later it had 6 bagged - ok different company but there are good prospects with the projects ALS have

eric - the "artisanal miners" are from the tribes who have signed up for the JV - so they haven't been moved off - they get the cash without having to risk their lives via the JV with VAST. The whole community benefits - the deal was set up outside the ZimGov (with the Chiadzwa community), but has the blessing of the powers that be within the ZimGov.

The cost of security will not be high as the local community will protect their land as they know they are going to benefit from them. They were the artisanal miners - get it?

eric - a few answers to your absurd speculation.

1) VAST resources is the largest investor in mining exploration in Zimbabwe over the past 15 years (according to our CEO).
2) the Zim economy is 1% of the UK's so in real terms VAST is a large company in Zim equivalent of an MC of £3.3 bn based on relative economy size.
3) Our CEO has lots of experience (and a proven record) in dealing with governments and acquiring licences.
4) VAST resources have the top team in Zim for diamond mining with Mark Mabhudhu et al.

ericeric you appear to misunderstand - I suggest you do sme research before making your inaccurate and misleading claims.

Sandy, I agree, however we are where we are, in time they will probably reduce the bureaucracy - VAST is one of the first movers in Zim right now, though it is taking time, AP has made great progress in a very short time and I am very positive about the future.
I hope we get the sign off next week, there is much to look forward to IMO.

And Romania is also potentially worth $bn's to VAST - so many possibilities.

IMO the ZimGov want to get the deal done, though they are not that bothered when. It will be when it suits them - I am sure soon but.....

Both BOD and VAST will go better over time, VAST will be 2p next year when AP gets the Marange sign off

ripley - no reason - the BB gets filled with "excited posters" when the s/p is volatile - preferable to the deramping mob when VAST was at the lows but I'm never excited, I expected the rise and I expect it will go on until 2-3p+ in the future.

I hope everyone has made some money or at least go some losses back. Don't worry about the retrace from .5p shs do not go straight up. Share profits are doing their usual hatchet job and MM's are just doing what they do.
