The discount may boost sales in the short term however this is what AML want to avoid. They need to limit production and use the Enzo Ferrari philosophy of building one less car than you can sell.
This is how you keep demand and profit margins high, don’t chase the volume as a high end luxury car maker.
From what I have read recently the current team is going down this route and that gives me confidence in the brand. 14,000 cars a year with a 20-30% profit margin is sustainable and will be the target going forward but no need to rush to get there.
