It is our current situation that is having me pay more attention day to day. I am sat at home what th my phone in my hand.
I may be back to work in 2 weeks so I will have plenty to distract me.

Yes that’s why I talk about hope and opinion as predicting short term movements is a real gamblers game.

To be honest if I was just a short term guy I would have sold at 35 and then bought back lower so I can’t blame people taking the quick profit.
That is not how I invest, I am in for the long term gain and company success so I just have to watch the ups and downs along the way.
Hopefully a little bump up before close while people start to jump on the potential uptrend.

The 700hp plus version of the DBX using the new in house V12 will be coming in 2021 so they have to hold back a bit on power on the launch model. They will probably also do a DBX S using a more powerful version of the V8.
You have to be able to keep a model relevant for a long period of time so they have to leave head room for improvements over the years. 2023 will bring the hybrid version also using the In house new V6 TT.

By the way Perez has been with the team from Force India days through racing point and now Aston so not really big news.

I think Strolls son has a secure seat for the second spot.

Sales will definitely be down quite a bit this year.
Q1 partly covid as well as reducing existing stock.
Q2 mainly covid probably 50-60% down
Q3 maybe slightly up on 2019 due to DBX and Vantage convertible.
Q4 a good increase in volume from 2019 with DBX ramped up.

Overall still considerably down on last year but with lots of positives at the end of the year hopefully including Valkyrie.

Let’s hope Skier is correct. His accurate knowledge is amazing. He never talks rubbish or utter nonsense. I will follow him to the end.

Totally different situation to banks in 08, they caused the issue and a lot of that money was not to be paid back.
I am suggesting a loan which will protect jobs and manufacturing in the country. If you feel this should be allowed to disappear that is your opinion.
I have no interest in McLaren but I would not like to see the 4,000 jobs lost over there either.

I do feel like protecting jobs is important during this time and home grown manufacturing should be seen as important.
I feel that the government should loan money to McLaren and Aston at reasonable rates to protect these U.K. based companies.
I am in no way suggesting a hand out as that would be wrong and not justified but a loan to keep things moving during one of the biggest crisis in recent times seems reasonable.

Not sure of my volume at the moment. What I will say my thoughts of 70p-£1 haven’t changed as this estimate was based on DBX and Valkyrie deliveries being made so as great bing a large cash injection and a high profit margin on those cars.
Will this happen in the next month or two? I would say no but I would hope by the end of the year we will be at that point.
I have never claimed to be an expert if any of the comments have been aimed my way. I am just telling it as I see it.
Valkyrie in the short term is very important so I hope that this is not delayed much further. It will insert a very large profit and important cash value to get DBX up to volume and to allow sufficient time for full recovery.

Indeed, I was not very happy with the statement given at the Q1 results. They could have stopped the drop with a more positive note at that point.
It really doesn’t matter that much as sentiment really doesn’t effect the future of the company in the long term just the share price in the short term.
I keep holding and will pick up some more before this ramps back up.

I do hope we have seen the AML bottom but have we seen the covid and general market bottom? That is the big question to answer now.

Very good info that. So sales we’re actually on par with last year but they had already taken the money from the dealers in 2019.
A slight glimmer of light however Q2 is going to be the painful one.
They have sufficient cash to get DBX and Valkyrie to production as long as Covid shutdowns don’t start again.
It seems at this point we are really betting on the impact of covid and the general market as I do see a bright future based on sales of the new products.
This doesn’t help anyone I am sure as the future of covid is still unclear.

On the preferential share side of things. Do these have to be declared at any time?

It is possible they are as they were transferred from Stroll from what I understood

The one thing I would hope for in this situation is Stroll or other inside groups to purchase more stock. This would give stability to the stock and show confidence in the future.
