What about if they sold the 75,000,000 into the general market over the last week. The volumes had been very high. Is this possible or allowed?

Seems to me the number is just under 5%. So 75,000,000 shares. that is significant to see where those shares have gone.
Would they have been sold into the regular market? Does anybody understand how this would work with someone who has to declare?
Have they gone to other investors as a lump at an agreed price? Does anybody know what is required to be said for this to happen and when?
I do not have knowledge on these things I am hoping some other traders understand how this works.

So what you are saying is that these shares were used as collateral in the short term and now have been returned?

Best case scenario is that the Swiss guy, Bamford, Wolff , Stroll or Daimler increased their stake.

They have different numbers but also doesn’t make it clear if it was just a move rather than a sale.

The RNS is a little difficult to decipher. Did they just transfer the shares from one entity to another?

Yes, I actually don’t know if this was just a general share sale over a period of time or this is a deal done with Merc for example.
It would be a worrying sign if they bought at £10 and sold at 50p.

That is a big move. 2% is a big number. 30,000,000 shares

Ghost everybody knows that something else is going on with the boss of AMG moving to Aston. The problem is we don’t know what that plan is.
I personally don’t see any negatives as far as share price no matter what it is but it is fun to speculate on all the options.

What might play out is a deal involving a further commitment to AMG moving forward in return for some kind of debt restructuring help and backing from Merc.

One thing I have been thinking about is the increasing CO2 pressure. Manufacturers with under 10,000 units fit into a different bracket than the big guys.
It is becoming very difficult for the big guys to produce sports and super cars as they have very strict regulations and even more so going forward. Hence 4 cylinder engine in the next 63 AMG.
When under 10,000 it is a negotiated CO2 level based on developing technology. This effectively means currently they get away with twice as much average CO2 than the big guys.
So remain closely tied but not owned may be more appealing but I am sure they have other ways around this.
Just something else to think about and add to the speculation.

Nobody really knows, it could be a share swap, takeover bid or some kind of other agreement. Difficult to say but one thing is for certain it will be worth much more than the current price.

Deos, ask this question. Do YOU think the AGM will be positive or negative?
I find it hard to believe that the new BOD will want to be negative in any way.
