Icemax, funding becomes irrelevant if we find oil. Funding will not be an issue. I would agree that if we do not find oil then funding for CERP assets will be very difficult.
Magic £19 IPO valuation maybe. 95p?
Just put in for another 3 mil at 2.65. The ship is getting closer by the day
We will all be ordering new cars in February. Can’t wait.
Obviously everything will go EV over the next 20 years however Aston have an opportunity to hold on a little longer than others and I think will benefit. They will produce EV at the same time on the back of MB tech.
Definitely won’t be just another white good. Humans can’t help but to show off. If your washing machine was on public display you would probably make more of an effort.
Animal signals such as bright feathers and a large main are always going to be a thing.
Covid if finished and the bounce back will be strong. The management are as good as it gets so no worries there.
I will admit I had thought of selling on Friday however I originally bought in for a long term hold and even though some dips may happen I still see that as the correct choice.
Starchild I dont have premium, I am too cheap
Why are BPC being conservative on the potential up side to the entire licensed area?
Surely it would be a lot more attractive to tell the shareholders and the Bahamian public what the possible financial numbers could be on a best case scenario over the next 20-30 years.
Has to be a strategy not to talk about those numbers. Any ideas?
Over £200 billion valuation I would say is a little optimistic.
Lshi99 don’t you think if we are expecting a 26% drop then we would have all sold out holding last week. So you can assume that we don’t expect much of a decline and even a possibility for a further rise.
I think part of the new MB tech share they will have access to the new infotainment systems rather than the old agreement which meant they had to use the previous generation.
This will be a huge upgrade to all the current range. This should come in early next year.
Oh I thought you were talking about the slingshot move when we send Icemax around the moon to pick up speed to the drill site.
Star I would think the only way would be a case against the Bahamian government giving the approvals.
This could have weight if backed by the opposition party however in this case the opposition a has actually stood up in support of the drill.
Very little chance of this going anywhere however I am in favor of letting the people have their say once all the facts are presented, financial and environmental securities.
I am confident that most, even ones who are concerned with the environmental will understand the long term benefits of a large scale oil find.
Star I do think you are barking up the wrong tree. Maybe a few have alternative motives but a majority believe in the environmental reasons.
It would be good to know how many of the 45,000 signatures are Bahamian as I know this has been around the UK. The whole corruption and anterior motives side needs to be dropped.
Garry the fact is that we have a 3:1 shot at hitting commercial quantities ( arguably better )
Not many would argue that the share price will be above 20p if we hit.
I would suggest that once we know for certain that the legal challenges have been squashed then the 3:1 bet becomes reality.
Once this is the case then 5p represents a good buy as the return would be at least 1:4. A numbers game but the odds are in our favour for a share price rise.
Stach I know that, they have been used to help fund the drill. I am not being negative against the assets I am just saying that with a duster and a low oil price it may be very difficult fir us to extract value from the assets.
Stach the CERP assets rely on 2 things to have value. The oil price to stay close to $50 and for us to have available cash to develop the portfolio.
Neither of these things are guaranteed.
In theory the chart should be adjusted correctly however this is not the case for Aston during the dilution period. The charts still show a price over £5, if you convert the current number of shares our market cap was not near £5 at any time.
87p? You nailed the peak.
Agreed Garry, let’s find out if the oil is there then let them decide. They need to understand the direct financial ramifications of the decision.
Being voted on at the AGM but yes it is happening.
