If anything I’d say they are trying to rush one through whilst they can, I remember back when it hit 0.30p a few years ago and the same thing happened, they had to admit they were in the process of raising and managed to get it away at 0.21p. Assuming similar here, they might just get it away in double figures if they are quick about it.

Looks like placing shares are being forward sold here, there are a few that are going to be very sorry left holding the bag for the next 6-12 months whilst more shares are issued and we wait for GOI approval, my guess is a placing/loan agreement will be announced before the end of the month to tide them over. Once Zak Mir and share talk get involved you know it’s not far away, just need Jasper13 to appear and it’s done.

The trick here is to buy in early whilst the price is down and before the bait is set and don’t get left holding the bag.

There are a few sorry bag holders left here today who will eventually get bored and cut their losses. The smart people will be waiting for 3-6 months when there is just 1-2 trades per day and hardly and comments (if any) and buying back in single digits. Then the GOI approval speculation will start when Roland plans his Christmas trip to India again and this will be back up to the 0.15-0.20p range for another easy 50-100% for those that understand the rules of the game.

The true value of Cambay could be much greater or much less. Historically they have already spent over £100,000,000 trying to get the gas out of Cambay at a commercial rate and have so far produced little more than a fart and certainly not enough to cover operational expenses. It’s like trying to sell a broken laptop with a bunch of bitcoin on without the battery or password. Could be worth nothing if it won’t work.

As suspected this is down based on low value deal and 10 month GOI sign off process

The deal effectively values Cambay at $40,000,000 meaning SYNS share is worth $20,000,000 (£15,700,000). With a current market cap of £15,300,000 current price is slightly below assset value however they will need to raise funds to bridge the gap between now and GOI approval and 6-10 months is a long time on AIM so I don’t see why there would be any significant upwards action for some time until the value of Cambay is increased via a successful drilling programme which is unlikely to start for at least a year.

Think we will see a big drop today as people realise GOI unlikely to have this signed offf for 6 months+

When GSPC sale was waiting for GOI approval it was fully agreed in April and not signed off until the following February by GOI

10 June - Sale executed pending GOI apprvoal

17 September - still pending approval

28 October - GOI approval expected in the coming months

7 Feb - Transfer approved by GOI

That’s it for this round tbf, watch it drop back as people get bored, I reckon 3-6 months for GOI approval. Maybe a buying opportunity in a few months around the 0.10p level again. I sold too early at 0.15p but can’t sniff at 50% profit in 2 months and a chance to do it again soon.

My guess is AGM, good news (either JV or something made up), immediate placing.

Obviously the biggest worry here is that they didn’t need to say nothing before the middle of march as per last RNS in remember stating 90 days but they tweeted that it would be done early Feb and we are now past that, it makes you wonder why they said early Feb, was it a genuine thought or are they trying to get the price up to sort out another small raise?
