Sold half my holding here at 542p last week and bought them back this morning at 530p - I can't see anyone apart from Qube wanting to be short before the update on Thursday and for me the share goes up from here barring anymore macro economic turbulence as funds reposition themselves - lets see

I reluctantly sold half my stock a couple of days ago at 542p - will wait now as I think it will probably be sold off more going into the close today, after all nobody wants to leave money on the table over the weekend - will see what plays out then and look to buy back before the trading update on the 18th

I have to admit I am getting slightly concerned - I am hoping they are delaying in order to tie in some positive information on the north american bus sale with the results - they started the process at the beginning of the year so there should be something to report, unless they can't find a buyer in which case I am afraid we are screwed

I like the way DLG is going about its business right now - Jane Poole from Aviva is a really good hire - nobody goes from a really good business like Aviva unless they know the business they are going to is capable of reaching new heights - at the end of the day we know full well that DLG is worth at least 237p as that is what Ageas bid for it - Jefferies said that 270p to 300p a share range would be more in line with recent M&A valuations in the sector - the current share price looks ridiculous to me - car insurance has gone through the roof of late and I am expecting the profits in the next q2 update on the 4th September to be substantial (AGM on 8th May btw) - I have added here recently and DLG is now making up over 10pct of my whole portfolio - follow the money

Added some more this morning at 63.5p

Decided to take a small tranche here at 367p - been here before and made some good profit at a much higher share price than this - the price looks cheap to me regardless of the US inflation figures coming out today, an 8pct south correction seems a bit of an overeaction to me - will look to add on further weakness
gla dyor etc
Looking at the share price it has obviously come off due to the US inflation figures, as have all shares - I have decided to take a small tranche at 63.5p, not my target of 60p but it has shown some resilience around the 63p mark which may well mean a disappointing update is already factored in - will add more if it breaks 60p

588p paid
We did tell them Sund but they just wouldn't listen - kept digging that hole - on their way to the earths core now taking a huge loss with them -

"Something is happening..rallying strong now." - yes the short seller at Qube is about to lose his job, hahahahah

MKS down today as a result of a negative read after new research highlighted the soaring rate of insolvencies in the industry. There have been almost 20% more insolvencies in the last twelve months, Mazars data showed, as the effect of higher interest rates hits high streets. - personally I see this as an opportunity to add to my holding - less competiion equals more purchases at MKS - JL - too little too late imo - Damage already done by Sharon White - Waitrose cannot compete on price with MKS due to inefficiencies in delivery compared to the service offered by MKS with Ocado - this is playing out in front of your eyes right now as MKS continues to take market share off Waitrose - I will be adding if it falls much further
gla dyor etc
I did say here yesterday that there would be some turbulence before the results in April and it is playing out in front of your eyes - another buying opportunity? - maybe at the right price - if it goes sub 60p I will buy back as the incompetance of the board is imv factored in at that price - there was always going to be broker downgrades after yesterday - I suspect more are being prepared as I am typing -
gla dyor etc
Agree with Abject here - the bid at 237p equals the value of the company imv - indeed some brokers were saying between 270p and 300p - for me this is the base line - I bought here yesterday at 181p and will add on the basis that DLG sub 237p is undervalued - the share fits my remit in terms of the dividend at 4p and I will add more on any weakness
gla dyor etc
Well done to all who held and added today, I was I think a little hasty in selling out and in retrospect should have waited for the conference call - lets hope a corner has been turned here for you guys, personally I think there will be more turbulence between now and when the results are eventually announced and I still have no confidence in the board which is why I will remain out -
First tranche bought at 181p -

Sold my entire holding first thing at 68.7p - I cannot stand incompetance and I think the market will view it the same way - board are a disaster and need to go now imo - will look to buy back sub 60 - lets see what happens
