Surely your broker ought to be able to deliver a Cost effective bed and isa? See if you can in-specie transfer to a broker that will?

Cheers buddy. I'm running everyday now too. I've got another Ironman to do in September, and I actually want to do quite well in it....Whilst the doob was helpful for peace of mind, it was doing nothing for my heart rate!

The volume over the past few days has been dreadful here; I think I was responsible for just over 1/3 of all buys yesterday....and I only took around 220k; hopefully, the prospect of rising economic activity and a dollop of $$$ in the US will see Gold gently wake up.
I'm kinda at my limit on what I can sensibly put in here at the moment; perhaps if I get anymore decent profits from my other sectors, that will change. But anyone buying at these levels is buying incredibly cheap given what we have actually achieved.
I remember the GGP early days where it just didnt move. Patience does pay. You just have to learn what Patience really means. You can't spell patience without PAIN.

I’m not sure why we are talking results? There aren’t any due. The only news we are waiting for is the remaining 3750m of drilling.
I’m not going to defend CM, as the inference and activity from him at the turn of the year was of excitement, equally bolstered by Mr Stephenson, resident Geo at SI. Both ramped during the season and we all were happy to take the rough with the smooth.
The holding pattern is unhelpful, I know. Believe me, I’m not hurting, but I’m frustrated that my ‘solvent’ investments in cash have outperformed Cobra this year....DUH! By cash, of course, I don’t mean sterling, but blockchain. But it’s all the same really.
Thankfully there has been an uptick in other sectors, allowing a deeper dive here, but Jeez, I’d be spitting feathers if I hadn’t had the opportunity, so feel a lot of empathy for those seeing these levels again.
I ain’t changing my strategy. The longer this goes on, the more attrition I’ll take. It’s like a game a squash at the moment. Thankfully, I do have the endurance....If only mentally!

I’m conscious of not veering off topic during the day, so I’ll try to do my best.
BTC - I’m not necessarily sure that electricity use of BTC mining can really be used as an objection. Seriously? Banking system energy use? Gaming industry? Internet generally? BTC mining can buy green electricity and it’s dealt with in a fail swoop. Gold mining and copper mining? ESG? Pah! Come on! Mining is a scourge on the landscape and chemical pollution. I’m still invested of course, but I’m not going to kid myself that gold mining is cleaner than the ENergy use of BTC mining. That’s FUD and is a smokescreen by the old guard whom are fearful of change as they don’t understand how they can adapt to this rapidly evolving world.

BTC is clearly a store of value, similar to Gold. It just happens to be slightly more mobile, this liquid etc.

I’m covered into both gold and Crypto with leverage on the gold, not the crypto. Time will tell if I’ve played it right.
