Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The DFS on track for Q4. The specific mention of it must be a response to shareholder frustration with the timelines.
It now seems clear that KC and EMH are a hostage to fortune, waiting for EU grants to be applied, waiting for CEZ to get moving, waiting for the nod to announce the DFS and all the other matters discussed on here at length.
I am still buoyed by the fact that Cinovec is a strategic european resource which must be developed and the fact that Directors were buying the shares well into last year and paying prices higher than we are presently. I do think with a fair wind these shares could ultimately reach a couple of pounds, but for now sadly it is a waiting game until other organisations get their acts together.
"In preparing the financial statements we have considered the upcoming liquidity opportunity consultation. As this consultation will not conclude until after the approval of these financial statements it means that there is material uncertainty over the going concern of the Company"
Indeed Krusty, I hope this is not another situation where ii's will force a sale of the assets. A 9% div (or whatever it is currently) on very short duration debt should not be given up. I bought a few more today and hope this consultation is just a consultation. The company says it will buy shares if they are at an ongoing discount to nav.
PMI have made some bad judgment calls recently such as the Woodbois investment. What are PMI's losses on those?
I hope that in striving for higher profits, they have not become overly adventurous.
However most financials have been hit in similar way, all due to the high inflation/interest rate environment we are presently in. Next year will be quite a different story as inflation and rates reduce and a yield of 7 to 9% becomes attractive again.
A bit of a holding action today. FUM up a bit but usual economic headwinds message.
One has to wonder what wat the point (and expense) of multiple stock market listings in Czech, Germany, US etc. Babis delayed things, then we got a low ball offer, then along came the deal with CEZ out of necessity and EMH is sidelined.
I expect an offer from CEZ to buy EMH out, despite whatever they might say about not wanting to (they wouldn't want to advertise it would they). Another low ball offer coming in?
It is possible. CEZ know the value of the asset as they already own more than half. Dont they have directors on the board?
Other potential bidders, VW et al would probably prefer to wait for the dfs to confirm the value of the resource and move the project on, before confirming an interest.
It really is a case of anything could happen anytime, so I'm staying in and whinging from time to time.
I doubt EMH will be around to be part of the actual mining processes. The focus seems to be to maximise the value of the project and come out with a reasonable price for their share of the project.
If you click the blue bar above which says More MNG Information, then click the Financial Diary icon, it will give you the ex div dates.
By way of interest I use Dividend Max which gives loads of information and the basic level is free.
Everybody sticking their hands out for a piece of lithium pie....meanwhile Asia and the US are years ahead of Europe. I can see the debates dragging on here for years.
It has been jam tomorrow for the last 5 years with emh. Every time the price rises on rumours, it falls away just as quickly. I have been holding out, waiting for some actual news. A dfs, a signing, some inking. Instead the actual news we have had is giving up 51% to Cez, employing various people to produce various reports and do various researches, which have produced nothing tangible thus far. Wish KC was honest and told us he is in the pocket of Cez and has little or no control over any timings.
.....yawn.......
The co has done f.a. about the dfs since 2020.
I don't see many posts saying this co is worth three or four pounds a share any more and I think there are quite a few shareholders prepared to sell out for two pounds a share. Wishful thinking is one thing, but a firm offer on the table is quite something else.
Were an offer to come along one would have to be guided by the boards opinion. Are the board actively seeking a buyer?
A good day ahead....see RNS
Erginbilge what a doughnut...
Director buy might indicate the low point reached. I hope so, I have increased my holding.
Share price had got ahead of itself. Like many shares, holders will have more disappointments this year as earning and valuations are revised.
However if aewu drops to 90p again, I would definitely top up at that point.
Ex div date is friday for 6.3p. I am glad to have held here and see the sp recovering. investors money is moving back into Funds in general so we should see an improvement in FUM in Q1
I invest in high div stocks and although the current nav has dragged the dividend down, the holdings in this fund are well poised for a europe wide recovery this year if the. I consider the European recovery will be stronger than the UK one so I remain invested here and continue to add.
6% plus potential good capital growth in a well managed fund is exactly what I am looking for.
If these were a pound I would probably rugger off too.
Seriously...something has to happen soon....even a CEZ buyout.
