Moola.
I suppose I have to make a decision on what would be the bigger regret.
******
I have never in my life trading regretted taking my profit.
I have never regretted watching a share continue rising/falling after taking profit.
My MO.......Buy before the bottom, sell before the top.
You will be happy.
ATB.
Bonkers.
Bladey you are probably right , however I can see online shopping continuing to be a thing , I wanted to add a retail to my portfolio as I have stayed clear , however I just don't know what one.

Do some research on M&S best recovery in retail IMO.

Gain as much experience as you can.....
Before you run out of money.
When a man with money meets a man with experience...
Very soon the man with the experience has the money,
and the man that had the money has some experience.
Anon.
This is one meaty buy.
What?
An uncrossing Trade?
Need to read up Joker.
Never rude to take a profit.....is a short term gain of £1k happy for you to take?
If so put it into your bank, you will not lose any cash.
All to do with your mindset.

Duster,
Despite Ms Patel insisting the policy will be reviewed every three weeks.
(And do you think air bridges will not be negotiated in that time?)
If so ,why not?
Spain will reopen to overseas tourists from July, the prime minister announced on Saturday afternoon, adding that the government would guarantee the safety of visitors and locals as the country emerges from one of Europe’s strictest coronavirus lockdowns. The prime minister said central and regional governments had been planning and coordinating the return to tourism for weeks.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/may/23/canary-islands-reopen-to-tourists-offering-sun-sea-sand-and-safety.
With many other countries in Europe now opening up i.e. Greece Croatia,Cyprus, no doubt Italy soon to follow along with Turkey. Never sure about France!
Can you please tell me why no British tourist will visit these places?
Do you think the UK government is going to stop tourists coming to the country when they are ready to?
P.S. Don't use UK quarantine rules as an excuse that will be reciprocated with other countries sure as day is day and night is night. IMVHO that will remain for a very few weeks.
5-6 weeks time will be all systems up and ready to go.
Cheers.

MP urges Prime Minister to support Whitby potash mine
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is being urged to support a North Yorkshire based company trying to secure funds to develop what would be the world's largest potash fertiliser mine.
Potash mine
ReutersCopyright: Reuters
The mine, near Whitby, suffered a setback after a bond aimed at raising money for the project was pulled.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-leeds-49687330/page/14
So who is to blame or is it simply bad luck that SM couldn't raise the funds to build the mine - would we have got there if the Government had offered loan guarantees - or was the project simply to ambitious for a start up with no income.

Despite all the vitriol on here, if CF could have continued this company as a solo act, IMVHO he would of done.
In the end it was all stacked against him.....LTHs have had plenty of time to realise profits in the recent years past.

Tick-tock tick-tock.
jonesrichard.
I stand by my thoughts that the sp could well be in the region of 20p-35p at some point this year IF all bonds are taken up and the next quarterly update states that everything is still on schedule (or possibly ahead of schedule) and of course still within budget.
********
I too have my own thoughts about what the price may be come the end of the year, however, not to be ridiculed on this board nor being accused of being a Ramper or Deramper I keep my thoughts to myself.
Life is a lot pleasant and easier that way, don't you think?
You will never be respected if you always get things wrong.

(5 weeks max) will at least bring the sp to a more deserving level for LTH's (20p-35p)
********
What are you on?
I have been with this share too long to remember....your history of price forecasts are one of the reasons LTH's here are given a bad name.
By whole means stay positive in bad times, but for everybody's sake give up on your forecasts.
Hopefully this will come good in a couple of years time.....but keep your expectations/emotions in check and please most on this board.
Thank you.

Myo and others.....
Selling 50% at one bag was okay when we were on AIM and early days in ft250,however, now we are getting towards first production it it very less likely it will be a way to go from now on.
But if you look at the 10 year chart the one bag 50% sell and buyback has been very lucrative for many here.

Sam
I having been studying shares for about 10 years now and invested in SXX as there is huge potential. I want to take the plunge and trade for a living. Outgoings are going to be low,
*******
After your 10 years observation what do you think yourself?
I am retired and can spend all day in front of a screen, your quote 'outgoings will be low' Wow you can forget that.
AIM will be your target to earn any returns if you are lucky.
Spread your cash widely and run with your winners, drop the losers and fast.
It is a shark pool out there.
In the last 11 years including many trades particularly including SXX (my main winner) I probably manage about £10k p.a.
Including more losers than winners fortunately for me, the winners have done me proud. Inc some oilies and retail newbies.
You will need deep pockets, take care.

Myo...
SM...it would seem that Rio didn't drill as far as polyhalite:
********
I think you need to do more research re boreholes.....Rio actually sold to Sirius Minerals various borehole data, not available to public scrutiny.
The majority found thick poly and 'the shelf' that we are relying on to produce first poly.
I will try and dig out 'Camps Map' that many LTH's will know about that I wrote and copied about during our boring period.
Cheers.
Camp.
p.s. I have paper copies of many of these bores.
Generally you can tell if you are a long term holder in SXX by the size of your paper loss. Generally the bigger it is, the longer you have held, and if its approaching 50 to 60% or more, then you are definitely a long term holder.
**********
avo.
If you have held since May 2015 i.e. 4 years and average purchased every month since then.....you are well under water.
I consider this to be a medium term holder.
If you did the same since May 2010 up until planning permission May 2015 and achieved your target holding, then you currently sit on a respectable profit at today's price.
I consider this to be a Lth.
Therefore unless you are trading, since the risk of planning failing was removed you are now temporary negative on capital, however, in a few short years you should benefit from your investment.....i.e. 10 years holding.
Cheers .
