Re: Att Mini Investor
SXX.L
Hi again, and thanks for the write-up!
Yes, after holding SXX from the early penny days, I sold out in entirety in Nov 2011@ 32p to supplement our early retirement fund and also de-risk my SIPP which was 100% invested in SXX.
Hubby and I then gave up work end Sept 2012. We travelled to Europe for 1 month during October, then went to Singapore, Australia and Cambodia for 2 months over Christmas, returning home end of Jan 2013. SXX has afforded us a great annual travel budget so we have more travelling planned this year.
But, after years of following SXX, friends had bought into SXX etc upon my recommendation, so I never cancelled the interactive investor SXX daily price alert. So, I have to admit I have bought back to a lesser extent via my SIPP (thanks again to Shanks Pony for that life changing recommendation 2yrs ago!!) @ 20p & 14p last Summer/Autumn and by the time my SIPP becomes accessible in 8 years time, that will have given SXX plenty of time to mature nicely.
Life is good as they say, and all thanks to SXX and some excellent posters on this BB.
With regards to the events of this/last week; over the years of investing in SXX I have experienced more ups and downs than I care to remember. Sadly, they are usually for no reason at all other than sheer panic, foolhardy stop losses and listening to the unfounded views of others, so unless things really go pear-shaped on the planning front, I'm back in again for the long term.
Good luck all, SXX really can be life-changing...
