To clarify on my original message yesterday, HL confirms today that you cannot hold Ingenuity in an ISA - so replies were correct. Not great the mixed messaging from them.

You can however hold them in a Lifetime ISA. Likewise SIPP is also possible for those asking too.

Likewise I received that correspondence, but on the phone they said that guidance was incorrect. Also appreciate what the government page says re ISAs… seems a mess with no clear answer.

Re SIPP, it seems plenty able to hold in there.

Despite Hargreaves Lansdown’s original correspondence, I’ve been told by them twice today that you can in fact continue to hold Ingenuity shares in an ISA or Lifetime ISA post demerger.

Awaiting written correspondence on it, but FYI for anyone considering how to split their holding.

Too little too late. How is a strategic review only now being completed (with no outcome yet) after 3 years of decline. Will likely vote for Ashley, but will not be putting anymore cash in.

They also suggest that Ashley will intentionally run this into the ground to then steal Debenhams. Such an act would clearly be illegal.

Both have charges (fixed and floating) registered on 17 October so would assume this relates to the debt having security, but may be something else too

I think the card refers to Steve on here who’s always got something negative to say. Spy has referenced him before. God knows what the post is supposed to mean though.

In the context of Spy’s banger post, all a bit disappointing on Tuesday. It wasn’t quite the big announcement that was suggested to be coming. If he really does have a contact it would be good to hear some more detail on this banger as currently it’s just another rumour fizzing out like the past 2 years or so. otherwise I’ll be keeping my hopes grounded in future

PMH your facts fell over after stating the current share price.

An offer was made at almost the exact same share price (Apollo) for what we know valued Ingenuity at significantly more than the group’s mcap. Just because THG / Matt didn’t reveal the full price, likely due to an NDA, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a formal offer.
