The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
What copper price basis?
"Sixteen economic pit shells were modelled from an operating cost perspective which highlighted that the 20Mt pa and 25Mtpa open pit options potentially generate significant operating cash margins dependent upon mining rate, copper price and cut-offgrade."
Craig, had a shoulder op last year and is doing well, just bought back in to XTR, regrets his WSBN play.
And yep I still have arund 0.7% of XTR, CE seems to have gone very quiet.
Colin once said, "no news is good news", maybe a straw we can cling to with vacuum of late?
2 months, not a word from XTR, this is only second long period of silence (the other 76 day vacuum over new year 2018 / 2019) since I have been in XTR. Hoping to goodness Colins historical statement, no news is good news can remain valid.
On price movement lately, we really do need news.
I really hope AGM will be during my present leave, any time in June would be good, had to miss last year as was at sea when held.
I predict price will jump again shortly
10p plus Bushranger sale
Have to say, the hard rock production in ramp up, through rainy season, bodes extremely well going forward,
Lowest daily volume in a long time......
Eureka remains an enigma, no mention for ages, so far not heard anything to suggest it will not be progressed.
I got impression at AGM in 2021, that around 3m worth of equipment was required to progress the Kalengwa project, and that XTR were not therefore going to progress the project due to "uncertainties", and fact they had never intended to put that sort of cash up front.
2 possibly 4 sq km, and what grades, that is the real question at the moment, fact 250 tons delivered for processing suggests something IS actually happening. Cannot grumble, this sort of project is the companies, stated, way to go, some will prove better than others.
This is good news in my book.
Looks like there are several who are scared the price may go up too soon?
Ref Ascot seem to remember up to 200ppm being mentioned in one podcast saying higher than at cadia
Hi Dani, thw 992k oz is the underground stuff at Fairbride that will likely be targetted after the openpit comples, it is not a vein, and was always there inearlier models, just not included in the feasibilty study :)

So many what if's, but lets say, overall there is well over 2MT, (I personally believe there is) but we want AA out of the equation, lets declare decision to mine on a much smaller, economically viable pit, to get them out of the way.
All allowed our own view
Hoping there will be news soon maybe?..
Actually, I missed out the summise that any raise might be needed, as it won't, even if we did decide to keep the 20%.
How anyone can summise, that by keeping the 20%, raises will be required, when 80% will have been sold, the expenditure required, maybe 1bn, 20% of which would fall to XTR, who could then reinvest, the funds raised, at what would be sp of multiples from here, over a few years, with evential returns in the several billuons over time. All the while seeing income from Africa, what am I missing here?
