The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Well, the board must be utterly chuffed with themselves.
They will be celebrating like entitled toffs, walking over the hopes and goodwill of those LTSH who invested in HUR.
If they do read this BB - a message to them all - I do hope you reap the rewards of your scam in hell!
Senseman - I salute you.
After investing in HUR for numerous years, enduring turbulent times, followed their woes, listened to the wind coming from Big Malcy's holes, I've reached my breaking point. I've suffered a loss of 25k, and it saddens me deeply to part ways (please refrain from lecturing me on being ruthless with investing). The Board of Directors have been utterly disappointing, and if given the chance to meet any of them, I would certainly express my profound contempt.
Another one bites the dust
.... farewell good people, may the GAOTU look after you all.....
To all the sharks and spivs who feed on good people - GFY's.
Starlight - out!
Could not understand why my nose started to bleed this morning - then I saw that the door was slammed in my face by the this RNS
''Should the Acquisition complete as expected before the date of the AGM, which is to be held on 29 June 2023, the AGM will still proceed, but only Prax (and any nominee of Prax) will be entitled to attend. ''
:O(
“The delivery of a technically skilled and commercially efficient, debt-free Company enhanced our industry reputation and attracted outside investor interest.”
....as he reflected upon the ''submissions'' made by HUR at the time of that court case, I do wonder what Mr Justice Zacaroli would make of this spectacular RNS!
I am not clever enough to craft this but OpenAI appears to shine when you ask it's supercomputing brain to have a view :O)
OpenAI quote:
''2022 proved to be a favorable year for our company, as senior management successfully averted the misguided decision to give it away for free in 2021. As a result, we concluded the year without any outstanding debts and with a healthy cash reserve of $121 million. In a truly astonishing move, the senior management team of our company has once again made the decision to offer the entire company up for cheap in 2023. This decision, which defies logic and reason, reflects a pattern of inexplicable choices. Shareholders will be left dumbfounded as they witness the company being given away without any tangible return on their long term investments. Meanwhile, the senior executives, against all expectations, will retain their positions and continue to benefit from their roles within the organisation. It is important to emphasise that this is not a joke or a figment of imagination, but a real and disheartening reality characterised by a shocking lack of ethical responsibility or loyalty to the shareholders."
End of OpenAI quote.

''All this is a great credit to the team's ability and commitment which, given the challenges of the last few years in particular, have delivered full value and a great return for Shareholders."
Someone is smoking a potent hallucinogenic!
............ pass the Kouchie!
Ref RNS: just like the Raid on the Medway in June 1667 - we have been sunk by the Dutch and royally shafted.
Jeeze - if this was a chess game is would be a masterclass in moves beyond moves....
I'm sitting here watching my ships burn all around me! It's a far cry from excitingly watching the AM crawl around the Med, limp into harbour for a fix, then drag it's butt into Scottish waters... .. Ah well!
Below are the utterings of a man who has fallen over, bagged his head and suffering deep concussion ... utter C A R P
"Shares in Hurricane Energy (HUR.L) S O A R E D up to 31% after it agreed on Thursday to be bought by London-based oil refining firm Prax Exploration & Production, valuing the British oil producer at 249 million pounds ($300.6 million)."
IMHO - This is a very sticky & messy offer and I would not vote for it.
Whatever happened to him - it's like he was wiped of the face of the earth - I wonder if he still believes ?
WOW - I have a supportive response from Richard Bernstein in my email tray!
I'm feeling rather giddy :O)
Done :O)
Having seen this, I'm guessing they can forget/be too busy to open this mailbox in good time for the Q's to be processed and presented?

Phew - IG has allowed me to adjust my voting profile to reflect the SENSEMAN find!
I am watching this weekly and each time I lean in I find our SP has dropped - can't explain the frustration I feel given all the green signals about POO and tax breaks and UK being self reliant on hydrocarbons by getting rid of 8% of RUS oil and ....
This SP must being being held down for a reason .... ummm?
A very nasty RNS issued by some very very nasty people … and I thought the blood baths that I’ve seen in my own profession were bad - this takes it all to another level!
The true colours of these nasty directors are now flying high in the winds of truth
Glass of port will be toasted to his Lordship tonight at 2000hrs - Sir
Senseman - it's is nice to see you. I too followed the hearing and thought you presented very clearly your points to his Lordship. Thankfully the drilling didn't disrupt too much.
... and reflecting upon one particularly funny moment, I found it hilarious when AT suggested that his learned friend TS look on HUR's website for the information that his Lordship was requesting - TS was not too impressed at this swipe :O)
thank you
Just out of interest - is anyone able to tell me why shares have not been suspended during this court case? Given the gravity of the decision I would have thought it would have closed the door on trading shares until a decision had been made?
