Looks like there is a big unload going on. Maybe the old team are selling off big chunks to feather their nests and attempt to spoil the day. Patience is a virtue. Those that have the time just sit and wait, all will be right as we go down the road.

This MRE is outstanding so as they say in financial markets "Follow the Money"!!

Ride underway now. Those that hold tight will see the light at the end of the tunnel and will be glad they stayed onboard.

Also likely our " illustrious previous directors" will take advantage of increased share price to offload more of their millions of shares they still have so that may force mm's to hold price back or even push it back down making the day disappointing. Sticks in my craw to think they will profit so well from others splendid work when they so woefully failed. Expect sp to have a bit of a roller coaster day tbh. No idea where it will land but I will stay with it wherever that is, as I see more mileage longer term after the dust settles.

Think the RNS will be outstanding as I feel the board know their stuff and are super confident of the results they will put to the market and shareholders. Would expect a bit of profit taking after initial open on Thursday but expect the Webinair will help to consolidate and then when the initial selling has stopped some bigger buyers will see the merit in getting on board. Webinair will also give the board the opportunity to emphasise the merits of the project and possibly outline in more detail the way and time frame going forward , which may also surprise.

Looking at TUN current finances they seem to be struggling to raise enough for their own project so may not be well placed to be thinking of an offer for SML. Have to say I get the feeling our board would like to take this all the way to a mine themselves so they would want a very substantial offer to sway them but hey money talks sometimes so who knows.

It will no doubt be updated as further relevant info becomes available .

Am guessing all of this will have been in their line of sight and they have been firm that the MRE will be issued before end Q1 26. So if not today then one day next week. it will no do

SML have already been involved with Critical Minerals department ,even went to No 10 for a meeting recently so will undoubtedly be involved along the way.

Just had nearly 16m late share trades pop into view. Looks like mostly sells so did well to move up as we did.

Well at this stage of the project they are already looking for experienced mining staff to move the project along. There will undoubtedly be additional expenses to pay in salaries etc plus a variety of other on costs. Even if they don't need £4.7m, what do they say? "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" Better too much than not enough???

Perhaps this placing is starting the stampede for shares in SML??? New investor already looking at 30+% increase!

Guess if I had £4.7m looking to work for me, SML would fit very nicely for a multi bag return in relatively short term so smart move by the investor.

Our BoD will welcome the interest and the cash as it makes what is to come even easier for them and SML to move swiftly forwards. Win/Win I think.

Maybe as their main operation is in USA and already have significant US Gov support financially.?Their mining prospect is not "IF" but how will US Gov help make it happen. Also only have 168m issued shares much of which are institutional then, especially in the US, big institutions make things happen. Let's hope with the SML MRE we get better/similar reflection in the SP and market cap.

Our neighbour at Hemerdon produced a Feasibility Study back in May 25 which calculated an NPV of 7.5% with the then tungsten price a value of $190m. The figure of $190m has since been revalued to reflect the massive price uplift to a value of $1.7b.

I hope SML will be able to fast track a Feasibility Study( 3-12 months normally) before the bigger fish start getting interested as our NPV is likely higher than our neighbour because of better grades and slightly longer mine life so NPV nearing $2b not unimaginable at all, not to mention the other mineral deposits. If the SVS was further explored and proved to be as good that would also improve NPV but would take time and cash, maybe something for later on or a buyer?

Daltry, I totally refute your premise that my "After MRE" post was a ramp together with your rather patronising remarks that everyone knows all this. Just looking at many recent posts it is clear that they do not. Equally I am not professing to know which way it will all go but rather expressing an opinion on how I might like to see it go. Am not at all holding anyone's hand as every share holder is on their own. I do think the UK Gov will be a benefit to SML progress so long as it is proactive but not intrusive and genuinely hope that SML are able to import the necessary experience it may need to get to production.

If as we all expect we get a very favourable MRE then where do we go next?

We have to move to the feasibility stage to ascertain whether the minerals can be extracted economically.

If so then we will need to identify finance requirements and source them at the same time obtain the necessary operational and environmental permits.( UK Gov need to do their bit). If that all looks good and UK Gov should have SML's back then we will likely attract bigger fish looking to take it on at that point if not before.

I really hope that the current board, together with the inevitable additional specialised personnel we will need , can keep it on track, as they have so far done a sterling job, and they deserve to move the project all the way if they are capable and are allowed.

All along this process the SP should develop, ( hopefully in startling ways ) particularly at certain key points along the way.

So there is still a long way to go and many bridges to negotiate but this year and next could be amazing for both the company and the SP ( and shareholders too) and I hope our board want to take it as far as they can rather than sell it on but that may be beyond the control of all of us, but we all hope we will see the financial benefit from significant progress.

We just have to keep the faith and trust the board to continue its so far, stellar work.

Let's hope UK Gov follows through with financial and other assistance to move the SML project forward at speed. They have said they will offer some financial support and grants:-

Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is providing up to £50 million in funding to support domestic critical mineral projects, including exploration, extraction, and refining.

The government has provided over £165 million in total support to critical businesses. This includes a £26.8 million investment from the National Wealth Fund for the South Crofty tin mine and £11 million for Ionic Technologies to develop rare earth magnet recycling in Belfast.

The new Critical Goods Export Development Guarantee enables UKEF to guarantee up to 80% of loans for eligible projects, specifically targeting companies that supply critical minerals to UK exporters.Regulatory Support: The government is focusing on reducing barriers to domestic extraction, including reforming environmental planning and permitting to speed up project approval times.

Energy Cost Relief: To assist energy-intensive mining and processing, the government is increasing relief under the Network Charging Compensation Scheme to 90% from 2026, aiming to lower operating costs.

So bring on MRE and involvement and support from UK Gov to fast track project.

This should be an opportunity for our Gov to step up to the plate and invest and nurture an amazing prospect for the country. Potential self preservation in having the minerals present so no/less need to import, great employment potential and for once leverage against the US and others together with supporting British Industry and helping us as a nation get back to being a producing country again. They should support SML and any other UK mining prospects now while they are in the early stages and provide funding mechanisms to speed up the process to production. I am sure our directors will be doing all they can to court support but UK Gov needs to switch up a couple of gears and get involved in a positive way to ease the way forward but leave the miners to mine. Otherwise we risk the possibility of doing the early spadework and then hand the real spoils onto a foreign competitor. This is what the US Gov seems to be looking at and they will, as always, have a big war chest of cash, but we need to do it ourselves for once.
