I really think the FCA need to tighten up their regulation of AIM.. obvioiusly investor protection is not a priority at the moment.

My point is that those in the know quite often ramp the price of a stock up into a placing.. this can be a kind of sweetener to get the placing away and allow the investors to flip for a quick buck at the expense of the retail investors. For example, ‘if you take up the placing we will promise to increase our press coverage and give out some positive news’ and on top of that the city brokers involved in the placing and all their mates will jump on the bandwagon...aim is the Wild West..all IMHO of course :)

I’m guessing some of those large trades reported as ‘buys’ a few days ago were actually the placing being forward sold? Shameless rampers selling into the rally after being given the nod by their city mates.. always be cautious when certain people start heavily ramping stocks on Twitter etc. time and time again they walk away after shorting on the spike..

Interesting to see if we get another intraday reversal today..

Any thoughts on EQTECs move today? They appear to be in the same space as PHE.

According to the RNS from October 17th, KA exercised this options, worth100k GBP, at a price of 0.6 pence. This was way above the market price at the time and one of the reasons why I invested. I would have thought that PHE now have a number of ways to raise funds in the short term, especially after the Toyota news. In fact, a non dilutive (or near to) fund raise would be viewed as very positive by the market and see the continuation of the uptrend in SP. IMO.

What are people’s thoughts on the short term impact upon ANGS’s SP with good Portland results from HH? Is the 3:1 valuation (ukog:angs) valuation going to be maintained going forward or will the ratio shorten due to angs having production licence in place? Of course, good test results from HH regarding the Kim will be a game changer for both companies..
