I have that same feeling. I've just re read the updates for the 10th time over and it seems to me, as well as taking into account Randeeps comments on Twitter he was not aware of the petition, hence his interests ae well aliened with ours.

You won’t be able to buy any near production oil field that isn’t just a money Pitt for anywhere near £400k.

On the other hand these guys are very closely alined with shareholders & won’t be doing a bucket shop placing.

Oil price should be stable next year after maybe a turbulent winter, with Biden in office who will / should shrink fracking supply & could kill off many oil companies with a corporate tax rate hike.

They mention all this in the prospectus, were / are in talks in that region & needing the oil price to recover to around $50pb, which it has, hence the increase of interest.
