Hopefully announcements on AFPO's position will be made very soon that will clear this up and explain their position and how well they have progressed to date. Since receiving the correspondence from MUSIKA I have also received another side which helps put my mind at rest for now. I guess for me its sit back and await for update(s).......

I received a couple replies from Musika over the past few days (Regional offices) stating that they have never heard of African Potash, however one did state that it may be that they are working under a different name (not sure if this is the case?). When asked if Chris Cleverly rang any bells again the answer was they have never met but one contact said he may recall reading something in the paper at some point regarding AFPO but could not say if they were important in the sector.

Had some communication from MUSIKA this week and as facilitators of the E-Voucher scheme they have not heard of AFPO nor are they on the government approved list of suppliers?

I guess so :) although e-vouchers and diamonds don't seem to go together !!

The company "didn't go this far, work as hard as they have and taken the abuse they have to walk away with nothing" E-Vouchers seem to be getting "loaded" and the rains have definitely came this season. Patience is something I don't have much of but it is going to be needed here as they establish themselves in this market. Hopefully we will be updated soon enough on just how much or indeed how poorly APFO's involvement has been this past 2016/17 planting season !! This coming season will hopefully see any teething problems with the system ironed out as they prepare to launch it full scale.

There has been many problems reported and issues that need addressed, hopefully they will learn from these and when the scheme gets FULLY rolled out this next planting season it will be more robust and attract a more positive view from outsiders looking in. Would just like to know how involved AFPO have been since the 1500mt reported delivered back in August.

Stonedchic: Do you have any idea how long the they will sit quietly for, supply for the 16/17 planting season must be over now and it would be nice to know just how well they are doing on the ground?

I have read a few reports this week regarding Nyiombo being contracted to deliver 31000t of fertiliser and with 25000t of this order already delivered the remaining is to be completed this coming week. Is AFPO still involved with Nyiombo ?

I've tried contacting them to see if there's any connection but no reply as yet.

I have contacted some local people in Zambia who work within the fertiliser industry just to see if AFPO were known and surprisingly enough I got some feedback from locals who are very much aware of their presence in the industry. On what level and how big a scale unfortunately was not given.

Does anyone know why CC is in Kampala at the moment?
