Ach hindsight "Liberum Capital today set a target price of 950 on the company’s stock. According to the analyst this now indicates there is a potential increase of 50.6% from Sports Direct International PLC’s current price of 630.81."
"Jefferies, the Wall Street bank, said a deal “makes sense” as it would remove the corporate governance issues from the public eye" Well that is one way..
Perhaps pining for the Fjords ? Or a new pair of Donnay shell suit bottoms.

Coattail rider ? "British retailer JD Sports Fashion Plc said it expects full-year profit above market expectations after a "very strong" Christmas, sending its shares to an all-time high." although some claimed "we have seen a deterioration of trading conditions on the high street and a continuation of the unseasonal weather over the key Christmas period"
Ach it's only down 26% since that warning - not enough to get DD off the dancefloor.

Not sure the Forsey case has much impact on the share price - the profit warning is the bigger factor. That and refusal to let an outsider look under the bonnet.
"we have seen a deterioration of trading conditions on the high street and a continuation of the unseasonal weather over the key Christmas period." JD have a better website.
Is it "Wibble Friday" ?
