this mornings headlines FWIW, It seems that the big EU members have done some back of the envelope calculations and have come to the conclusion that from their perspective of course financially its better to have a deal wit Britain than not. So we are now talking about " concentric circles" with the EU in the middle and us on the outer circle- a bit like Stonehenge- Its stand to reason therefore that given the growing willingness to forge a deal all the domestically focussed sectors such as housing and banks to name but a few which have trashed over the last year or so should recover once the more savvy institutional investors return to their desks after their two week break in Cornwall. I sincerely hope that Mark Carney can also keep his nose out and let Sterling receiver against the Euro and give the likes of Soros whats coming to them. The stakes are high for the UK but they are much much higher for the EU lets not forget that. Roll on September and the St Leger.
