TBH I am surprised we have not see more II dumping over the last couple of weeks, which has to be a positive. The BoD look like muppets the way they have been blindsided by the FDA if discussions on this board are correct wrt BoD knowing in January about possible liver "issues". They must have opted to balls it out and insert they ballsed it up as a result of which most holders are well and truly under water. Add to this the incessant manipulation and you have a share that many would be investors would not want to go anywhere near. This given the clear potential of the drug is criminal.

has anyone seen the costs published of the "no deal " option? I was under the impression ( from an unreliable source, aka the BBC) that the results of a Govt study were supposed to be made public yesterday. To my mind if the study has been completed, the data supports the No deal case over TM's preferred option or it is too easily dismissed as superficial. The fact that the BBC has not crowed about it either makes me wonder if is the former. Juts musing

The boneheads appear to have seen through the fodder that has been coming out of EU HQ and have started too question whether this ideology of a slavish unquestioned devotion to some Federalist utopian vision is for them. Of course it's quite clear that history repeats itself and we are once again being dictated to just as much of Europe was 80 years ago more or less by the same bunch. Some of the boneheads in Europe are also beginning to smell the coffee after decades of having their very existence controlled from Brussels. Eighty years ago non believers were removed forcibly and put to work in some distant outpost of the Third Empire now they are tied in economically with no means of escape. Brussels too are worried lest the UK comes to Europe's rescue once again and restores the freedoms we have taken for granted for too long it would seem.

You are too right! that said there is discontent with Brussels throughout the EU and I would not be surprised to more anti Brussels populist movements gain ground over the next year or two. Macron may well be tea man walking as Marine le Pen is given a chance to bring back higher employment and improved prosperity to France. Italy is ready to walk and Merkel too is short dated stock. We will leave, of that there is no doubt as in not doing so democracy has been betrayed and constants will rightly sack their elected politicians we of course beed no reminder that it was traditional Labour strongholds that voted to leave by the largest margin

I think you will find the SP to have an inverse relationship to comrade Corbyn's fortunes. The impact of even a "no deal" Brexit is minuscule compared to the economic damage a Corbyn administration would cause. If Brexit is the chimp in the room, Corbyn is the 5 ton elephant.

You certainly have a point wrt some of the posters on this BB who have multiple identities and have been relentlessly pushing a Remain agenda for which they probably getting paid on a post by post basis. That said Lloy now a domestically focussed bank has its future tied closely to what happens over the next few weeks. Longer term given the Shadow Chancellor's hatred of our current financial system and our bank's obvious role in it, it's become difficult not to weight impact of political events on the future of our bank and our investment in it.

Jeremy has been backed into a proper corner this time as he has caved in to the "moderates" in his party. Many now seethe they have been stitched up as they now have to go back to their constituencies to explain why the labour party seems to be back pedalling on the commitment to leave. These folk are not as civilised as the Cons and won't think twice about giving their MP's a good "kicking" for going back on the manifesto. The treacherous anti democratic Remailers won't get their way that's for sure but the good news is that Corbyn's labour has been holed below the water line and more may now become emboldened to make a stand against the Neo Trotskyism cancer that has infiltrated the traditional working class Labour movement in this country. We may yet emerge from this Brexit debacle with a more balanced and functional political system in Westminster to see us take advantage of the new future that lays ahead of us free from EU bureaucracy. Its strikes me as utterly irresponsible that the FDA with all their "collective wisdom " could not have foreseen the global opioid crisis that has developed with thousands ayes dying as a result of addiction and overdoses.
