The people likely to vote for labour do not remember the past and have no assets so be definition nothing to lose from the catastrophic labour policies. Oh come on! The ERG has always wanted a close link to Europe in terms of trade, security and so on. They just want the prevent the break up of the Union , ability to make our own laws and the ability to trade with whomever we like without having to seek permission from Brussels and ECJ to do so. Maldim with respect most of the EU 27 are benefit takers so very unlikely to want to leave and return to a substance living growing food on allotments and swapping the family motor for a donkey cart. Ironically those that may wish to leave are the ones stumping up the dough. Its easy to see how an increased financial burden on the "rich" member states to fund the weaker states not to mention the grotesque lavish lifestyle of the Brussels "elite" may be hard to find with the EU plunging into a severe recession and possibly a decade of stagnation. In 12 months time the "Gilet Jaune protest of late will be seen as mere handbags at dawn in comparison and civil unrest will likely spread to Germany and the Benelux. The Remainers in the country have continued to paint picture of harmony and well being in EU land. The reality is very different as we all know but only some of us are willing to acknowledge. Brussels are terrified that our leaving acrimoniously will light the fuse, hence our departure will be wrapped in conditions that TM will be humiliatingly forced to accept. There are many intellectuals in in Germany and elsewhere in Europe who believe Brussels have played a dangerous and stupid hand in essence setting up their own downfall and that of Project Europe. Brexit may be an irritant to them right now, but I am sure some are aware that the black clouds already on the horizon signal a much greater crises to come.
