Thanks for the replies guys, it looks like a good buy at these levels just for the divi alone but what is making me take note are the large after market trades that have gone through this last week, today's transactions are a little bizarre too. Hence my original question if this is a normal trading pattern for DLAR because it looks as if someone is accumulating shares but that's just my opinion, please DYOR.

Ext,
It'll be right there next to a picture of a Kraken overturning an FPSO

There seems to be considerably larger trades going through after market the last 3 days, is this a regular occurrence with this DLAR? Thanks in advance Regards Caino
The size of trades this morning is laughable, in these periods of low volume it takes very little to drop the bid, very easy if one were to try and manipulate a lower SP. I'm not too concerned personally as I just see the pressure building for upward momentum.

A strange perspective WW, The value of the oil out of the ground per bbl is the same regardless of whether 1k have been pumped out of a reserve or 1B, so why would it be valued differently in place? Genuine question Regards Caino
Agreed G,
Topped up twice this week! and if opportunities arise sup 50p as and when funds permit I'll continue to buy!

Caino
BNB,
May even see a tick up into close today, even trades on the bid are drying up sub 50p

Escargot,
Fortunately for those of us in the UK this drop in PoO is tempered slightly by the weakness of the £ v $. Another day of sideways movement around 50p on little volume, hopefully a little excitement next week if the AM moves.

Caino
Agreed purves,
We are trading in a narrow range now well within support and resistance, it's getting harder to buy sub 50p now in any real volume, the SP is coiled ready for a break up. Exciting times.

Ncb,
ENQ had a much more complex setup to extract the heavy oil which resulted in commissioning issues, took at least 6 months and still didn't flow as anticipated. Correctly though it won't be a one week plug and play scenario and even after FOIL the FPSO may not perform as expected but plenty of time to derisk.

When everyone has finished, I'm sure we can all agree we are invested here because we believe the SP will be somewhere north of where it is now and we all share a common belief that the risks are far outweighed by the due diligence carried out to date and the subsequent reward. We may not agree with each others SP predictions or timescales, etc but we have to respect each of us are entitled to those opinions but it could be to your own detriment to disregard them without consideration and that's the point of posting on this BB.
That being said Mandy I doubt you'll see 46p as we are trading into a narrower range while we await news and the SP moves very little either side of 50p within resistance and support, coiled almost until an RNS or our brothers in the ship watching fraternity provide an update.

Sub 50p is a buying opportunity imho.

Thanks Mik,
Will give it a listen. The end of the dollar is a given, when is the multi trillion [insert alternative currency of choice] question!

Mik,
You read Jim Rickards? I think China and Russia strategy aligned in many ways, most significantly their accumulation of gold, but staying on track and keeping things relevant, US sanctions against Russia are relatively pointless as the EU imports 30% of it's oil and 40% gas from them with limited, cheaper options. Also any trade aggression from the US may expedite the departure of Russia and China from the petro dollar with dire consequences for America.
Short term I'd like sub 50p SP, at least until the pay day, so I can top up ;)

Ric,
Completely agree and further to your point Saudi account for 22% of OPEC reserves and have a $350B arms deal with the US over the next 10 years, why would the US Gov put this in jeopardy?
Regards
Caino
Ric,
EPS up and running SP = £1, you know as well as I do OIP is valued differently than out of the ground but my calculations based on contingent resources £5.14 if someone were to bid.

Caino
$500M says it's negligible.

Caino
Ric, AD,
A large group of people, more suitably qualified with better resources at their disposal, closer to the company and all it's data are willing to stake over $500M on this EPS, I doubt they are worried about, or consider, depletion a risk.
