Apologies here the (Share) ISA is new to me
I know you have a 20K limit and if you have more you pay tax ✅
My question is if the (Share Value) is much higher than 20K and I (havent) sold any shares do I need to declare it as being over 20K? or does it only affect me when I sell them? Thank you if anyone can help!
Has anyone looked into legal action here? Surely there is a maximum amount of time a share can be suspended for? The lack of transparency has been unbelievable. Does anyone know if there’s anything that can be done?
After 10/11yrs in here, I’ve accumulated only around 15 million shares. My main average is 0.27, however I’m not here to simply just double my money after all them years. This share could POP anytime and this week I feel is the last week of the 0.1’s…good to see a solid group in here who have done their homework. Fingers crossed it pays off for everyone. We’ve been very patient…first time the sells are irrelevant anymore. They won’t get back in much lower…
Good post ‘HFB’ you're on point with the seismic. It’s been done in a day previously. Also noticed that the share options have been carefully manoeuvred with a spike to cover (wages & admin) but also to ensure without doubt the shareholders are in a strong position if the share rises. Now I understand the buyout with Sundagas. I’m very disappointed in the way we’ve had limited cooperation but also excited at the possibilities after so many years…we deserve something in return
Good to see there’s no more placing and that due to the dollar price we have significantly increased our cash position.
Only concern is why they are still holding on to the seismic data that was concluded in June. It’s almost like they are waiting strategically to release this data. Makes no sense. Fingers crossed for a positive 4th quarter
I’ve been in this share consistently since 2012. Rampers are quite simply a lazy bunch who don’t use their intelligence to do a bit of research. Since I’ve been in here (back when we had a working well) this is a very unique opportunity for many reasons. The main being gas is high in demand and we have a potential monster. Yes this is a frustrating share. Firstly because when we get some traction the spread is increased and yes the share seems to be consistently being restricted to 0.08, in addition to the seismic being delayed and the bod have provided more and more share options to the directors…however I also see this as a positive, the fact they are doing that (looking after their own) in my humble opinion means they are doing this for reason. You also need to understand that it’s impossible to put a value in this as the value is not just the amount that’s available it also includes the value of extracting the gas and simply is it viable to do! The answer is BOIL can’t do this alone so they need an experience partner to do it. I do believe is this where I personally believe it’s undervalued but if you’re coming here believing the rampers who throw out 100 billion values without doing your research then it’s quite simply not the share for you. We do need honesty from the board and they also need to look after the other shareholders a bit more and provide some clarity on a regular basis. That’s what will keep this share moving.
As always, do your own research and good luck to you all..
Those who sell this share are absolutely bonkers.
The size of the opportunity is huge. The biggest thumbs up a share can get is when a director shows confidence by investing their ‘own’ money into the company.
Do what you please, makes no odds to me but selling at the levels here is beyond baffling!
You all do know when Malcolm said these exact words 'WE HAVE THE TIGER BY THE TAIL' he was referring to TIMOR LESTE (GAS not OIL!!!!)
You should do some homework and listen to his PODCAST. The GAS find is 100% YES 100% according to SHELL, which I'm pretty sure are a big player...could be wrong!
So give up on the OIL de-ramping...don't be a PUPPET and don't listen to the bullies...remember this went down to nearly 0.035..so top up, await news and remember BARON OIL has a HUGE RISK FREE 'GAS ' FIND...
ENJOY THE RIDE ;)
Hi All,
I first invested here several years ago at 0.85, back then we had very little to show for the market cap but BOIL have always been good at Seismic and farm outs to spread the cost.. The problem you have is to many people are trying to make a quick buck due to getting very excited with how easy this share can increase and decrease on a whim..
Let me get one thing straight, I'm not like a lot of you rampers who moan when it's falling and tell everyone how the moon is in sight when the have a significant increase in share value. However I will state the during the podcast when Malcolm said we have the Tiger by the tail in reference to Timor, we really have.. Its a Monstrous opportunity... Have can you also question us doing a 3D Seismic when the last one was less advanced but still enough to give a 100% success rate.. If you do your homework SHELL sold this to the Timor Leste Government because their current resources and one of their only sources of income are due to run out between 2021 and 2023..
So those questioning Peru as a small opportunity.. Remember Baron Oil is a small market cap company where even success at Peru will transform the company significantly on its own..
The fact this is at its current market cap is due to the revenue side..
My average is 0.30 and I'm incredibly excited. The BOIL have been given a resource that will transform the company from small to large.. Even if they decide to sell their stake, you're talking a huge increase thst will multiply the asset significantly..
I'm more than happy to see it slide, this will help me increase the number of shares to the point when it does fly I'll be fully on board.
Always do your research and very importantly, don't panic.. Enjoy the ride and grab as many shares as you can...
I've been invested for 6yrs now. Yes the market isn't stupid Orangepips BUT....two back to back drills, one in a proven area, HUGELY de-risked and oil at its highest price for a long long time..

So yes the market isn't stupid...if they had any sense they would invest in this fantastic opportunity.
Personally, I just keep adding when the fools drop the SP....
I'm in agreement with Shareguru. We need more info on the monthly fee for a start. Very poor that the share price is being restricted. I'd expect within 2-3 months to be 1p, otherwise questions need to be asked. I see no reason based on the RNS on why it shouldn't be. Shareholder confidence maybe?
