George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I find it galling that Soubry wants a second vote , but not a second vote from her constituents. It does seem that Change uk is just a vanity project and has no Kudos with the public , it will disappear by the next full moon, then they can howl to each other. Despicable excuse of a woman.
Ukip losses were mainly because of not fielding in as many areas in the past. I am quite pleased really, they do seem to have lost the plot. Liberals did well cos of remainers protest .The interesting part is the massive rise in Independence vote. I suspect this is made up of a large part by original pro Leave candidates within the two main council parties. Unfortunately this may have the effect of a rushed agreement of passing a crap deal made even worse with an added customs union just to avoid what will happen in the EU elections. The system will always be used to FCUK us.
I can understand your disappointment as regard to little or no Lloyd share news , but to be fair, I didn't see you offer any startling news on the share front. So until you have something constructive to add, I suggest you could while away the hours bemused by the board's contributors. I come here a few times a week , it keeps me away from the tripe the BBC and other propaganda merchants spew out every day. I should spend more time on the Vodafone sight, where my main investment is , but it is not very entertaining , plus the sp has crashed to depressing levels , only salvation is the 10% divi at these low prices.
Stumbled upon it on YouTube. How BBC bias works. This is not two fanatical right wing nazis shouting obscenities. Merely quiet discussion of how personal opinions have been eroded since the 90's.. Not for myopic remainers. You will never hear of this programme on the national media.
Wids, thank you for your offer of a cabinet post, although I would prefer a wardrobe, either way can I be your trade minister, lots of contacts here. G2bhere. You are probably right about US sheisters, but if it is a million to one that they have any effect , I will be satisfied. I am already ahead of the game re..saving cats etc. Presently the proud owner of a pride of circa 15 strays , thereby maintaining the Mercedes of the local vet. I do have an arrangement on prices though, examples ie antibiotic injections £10, anti-inflammatory £5. Tumour ops £90 and all other ops circa £70. At these prices it is no wonder that the vet's Mercedes is a very old one. ATB to both of you
I have never responded to either of the puerile drivel the pair of you post, it's beyond contempt. However, as you have directed your ignorant and uneducated pontifications at me, I shall now point out the reality. I came to Spain with money from the sale of two houses plus income from investment shares that pay for my life out here. Therefore I brought 100's of thousands and pumped it into the Spanish economy. I am an immigrant , but unlike the immigrants that you love so dearly that cost our society an average of £3,600 in tax credits , because of the minimum wage they need subsidies from people like you, or probably not because you must be on benefits yourself, due to the hour by hour postings , not got time for a proper job. If , in the unlikely event that you do have a job I am sure the reason for our low productivity output is due to your constant posting ill informed propaganda that the pair of you promote instead paying attention to what you should be doing. You can now spend many wasted hours responding to me, secure in the knowledge that I will not give you the credibility to bother responding. You really are beyond hope.
I signed up last night with change. org. I also did something I had never done before....I sent a donation of £10 to help get rid of her and hopefully , in the future , the rest of her elitist cronies. It was actually 10 Euros cos I am in Spain with Spanish internet. I left in 2006 after Blair opened the floodgates in 2004 . So I am not a leaver , I have left already , but although things could be tricky for me if a no deal is achieved , I will still be happy that there are still people in England with enough backbone to vote for what is right and FCuk the consequences , most of which will be beneficial anyway.
Thank you for posting the link. I have given 10 Euros to the cause of de-selecting Cooper for her blatant disregard of her constituency voters. That's only a little more than the cost of two packets of fags over here. If she goes, it will be a better investment than the one in Lloyds
If we were to use the posts on this board as a yardstick for a ''peoples '' vote , I thought we had already had one , however, bring it on. The leave vote would trounce the remain protagonists and send them to were they belong , oblivion. I see that one of the female rebels has had to apologise for using the word black etc yesterday . Needless to say Daily politics made it their leading issue , making sure that a disproportionate amount air time was given to '' a darker shade of pale guest snowflake '' to lambast the woman. No problems when ''white men or white workers '' are mentioned. Perhaps we non snowflakes should start to be offended.
I don't think Voda will need to cut divi, mainly cos if we ever manage to get a deal , even the crap one on offer, the exchange rate will change to 1.20 to the £ almost immediately. Therefore their payments made from Euros will effectively reduce the divi in £'s by default. Longer term we may see 1.30 and so on , bringing the cost to Voda divi down to sustainable levels..Also,as Daniel has mentioned, many of us long term holders are closer to £2 +, so unlikely to be selling at a crippling cost , ie 40K for me at the moment.
I too navigated many parts of England. Started out in Hammersmith, then Brighton, Haslemere , Portsmouth Yeadon,( leeds airport ) Haslemere again , Bradford, for missionary work, Haslemere again, Farnham, Pyrford, Farnham and finally Littlehampton to a house I had bought in 1985 , but moved into 1992. I saw in the years following how the character of the place changed in a decade. The invasion of the South coast from the Thames estuary to Bognor has become a cesspit. I managed to get away after Blair opened the floodgates even further. I have watched from afar the collapse of English culture and society. The likes of Crowcast are welcome to it, in fact I now hope we do stay in the EU and he can reap what he has sown. I love living in a pseudo police state, it means you can leave your house after 5pm and not return til 2 am and not encounter any anti social behaviour , unless you encounter any '' British '' youth on holiday. I concur and sympathise with your predicament. ATB
Well said. The establishment propaganda rolls on. The economy will be down £100 billion over a 10 year period. Be better to stay then, paying not only 100 billion to EU in a ten year period, but also another 100 billion for each following 10 years , ad infinitum.
Each politician says they carrying out the will of the people. How come that out of circa 650 constituencies 400 voted out , but the government can't get a bill through. That means over 100 MP's are not carrying out the will of the people , only their own selfish objectives. Blatant example is the fanatical harridan Anna Soubry that had a majority leave constituency.. Democracy is a Mockracy
Pushing the news that Toyota and BMW are going to close down for two weeks if their is a no deal. No mention of the companies are just shifting their yearly close down maintenance times. Never get the full story from our two main purveyors of half truths.
Instead of UKIP blanket bombing all areas, all they need to do is focus on the 400, cos if I was a leaver and my MP defied me, I would shift to UKIP. I would love to see Anna Soubry fall, she is one of the worst offenders. Also, the media is pushing for another vote, they believe their own lies. Based on this board and others, the reality appears to be 60/40 leavers, the outcome would be even stronger for leave than before, due to many unhappy people did not vote because they thought remain would win hands down.
