We have a normal company now! the update quite frankly is devoid of detail, the broad brush approach nevertheless makes our positioning in the market and direction of travel pretty clear. Great turnaround job Toby. I guess the sell off guys will be gone soon and we may see a slow but steady climb in the sp with new investors interested in sp growth and a divi culture....all good....just need to consolidate.....done atb...Huckster

SB, the SP is up and down like a fiddlers elbow on speed, doesn't mean the sp will get high! I really have no idea where all this going, the facts seem to say we should be on the up, this should be the best set of figures we have ever had, many will be seriously miffed if there is no proposed initial divi. Who know, one or two players may have had a quiet word with Toby and expressed of interest in MMX, they all will have a pretty good idea of what is coming. If Toby has anything about him he must realize this is the time to demonstrate the emergence of a serious player that knows how to be successful and flaunt it! we will see.....hopefully tomorrow atb to you SB

Morning SB .........Well yes, if the plan is to progress the business over the next few years with revenue of $20m plus there needs to be ongoing shareholder return, if there is no mention of shareholder return later this week, does this mean a buyout? We PI's have absolutely no voice at all, only SJL has in my view, if he was seriously ****ed off and spoke with the II's that might have some effect, we are strictly here for the ride in the hope there is a destination worth reaching, atb Huckster

Seems very quiet this morning,was expecting more noise somehow. Following on .... Toby must know there will be a blizzard of complaint/critisism if there is no divi or shareholder value at least proposed in the trading update, if such a proposal is not forthcoming my take is that it could well mean a buyout is en route, otherwise Toby will have done a great job in turning the company round and will simply get a kicking for his pains, why would he bring that on himself? just my thoughts. I know it would be nice to have a divi, and it is likely there would be a knock on effect with new investors, I think would prefer to the company retain it's revenue for effect and see a sale, surprisingly at 18p or above, its been a long haul of many downs and further downs. If you invest in a good company selling a good product/service sooner or later that company will have its day and the investment works, but you need the patience to wait until the time arrives, I really don't want the pace of consolidation the run out of steam, so for me i would like to see MMX folded into an entity with millions of DUMS and move on....................Huckster

Bakky, i really don't think it quite works like that, unless you want a low ball offer, that is about as attractive as a dose of anthrax, you don't put yourself up for sale, this is I think the wrong signal, best to work really hard to build up the annuity business with max revenue and bottom line profit, market the company and its success, exude confidence and pride in what we do, create a desirable brand and wait for the approaches .Having said all that i believe that is exactly what Toby has been doing intentionally. I am hopeful that 2020 will see interested parties coming forward. Hmmm... running out of steam, a profitable company won't run out of steam while being successful, interest in ntlds could wane if other options take over?? t time for our market is definitely finite, that's why companies evolve, hopefully MMX can if things change, I remain optimistic. SB you are lucky I'm in at 10.5 p, only been here 7 years, a newby! I have been investing generally or many years, mainly on divi payers for income, never been overly worried about the share price although good divi payers often see healthy sp rises. My MMX investment goes totally against the grain it really is **** or bust, no divi in 7 years just looking for capital growth in a new industry....reckless... hey ho it is what it is, next week will give us a fair idea as to the future. hmm.................previously when we are anticipating imminent good news and hoping for a jump in the sp, there is no buying activity at all, the sp does nothing but sink a bit and nothing happens, this is subtly different somehow. I think you are right SB, it doesn't look like II's and I think most of us seasoned PI's have had their positions for some little while and like me are already heavily over invested to get the buy price down so it may well be potential new buyers who have been watching and now feel this is MMX's time, another week of this interest could give us a little boost......... well now, wouldn't that be nice? ....Huckster

Just before a time when it seems very probable we should be getting some really good news/results the sp acts to the contrary. pretty much without fail. I have been in business a long time, i guess i know the basics, ( printing business we are now trying to sell) all the key business indicators as regards MMX look very positive other than the fact the whole market has not worked as most of us thought/hoped it might but that was factored in long ago. I really can't see why this sp will not fly ( for all the reasons given on this board inc SJL) bear in mind the sp was at 19p about years, all based on fantasy, sentiment with no figures to back it up other than failed auction monies that would likely keep us afloat - unusual but true. Why the eff would anyone sell now?? you would have to be DDB&Stupid excuse me! Give me 19p now pleease...........

Were all crazed investors! invested for 6 years, investment halved in value, not a penny in investor return, having to buy in heavily to get the average buy price down.............. just trying to keep hold of my sanity since the review!

SB Well yes, I agree with every word of that! Toby has done a great turnaround job, I think to get a top sale premium on our sp we will need to demonstrate our ability to generate a consistent and reliable level of revenue, that may a couple of years, but I want to see the results reflected in the sp now .....we will see......Huckster

This is really it, if the transformation of the company is not reflected in the sp in the next 2 weeks that will be disappointing but if the end of Jan Rns doesn't shift the sp I really don't know what would, other than a sale, surely we are on the move at last.

SB Yes ,I've been here a good few years, not had a penny out of the investment, paid about 11p, way too much for - now prices, but the review did what it did, ****e! So I have bought fairly heavily at around 6p and got my av buy down to the v early 10's and I, like everyone else wait. So yes, the sooner the better, 2020 or 2021 for me. a sale based on 3MM regs looks like 180 -190 million or a sale based on 10x revenue looks like 190 million, this is my hope, I do have faith in the management, I wouldn't necessarily accuse them of being overly slik or fantastic at marketing, I might urge them to keep the web site up to date as Bakky points out but they are grinding out the numbers intentionally in a workmanlike way and have created an annuity based business that will yield dependable results, not sexy but they are getting there. There will be loads of us doing a lap of honour around our living rooms when shareholder value is finally delivered, these are my thoughts, wishes and hopes for us all. Huckster

SB All facets of the business have value, free or low value now will be renewals in time, number of registrations are mouthwatering to potential buyers, biggest profits- in our market is now all about how many registrations you can have in one cost-centre, i think in time most registrations will be under the umbrella of 2 or 3 major companies..........................we are a snip at 190 million for 3 million regs
