I suspect that Crystal Amber are in the loop. They seem relaxed about the bonds. Oil price predicted to continue rising and the possibility of an increase in reserves.
I think your “City pal” (lol) is behind the curve. Perhaps it’s time for him/her to retire. ;)
That sentiment is becoming more prevalent but is still far from mainstream. That attitude will grow in the future, in the meantime the economic slowdown due to Covid will ensure oil has a future. Countries will not invest in alternatives as quickly as had been anticipated.
As a long term holder ;) you needn’t worry. Lol
Just what I was thinking only minutes ago.
Nobody can really complain of being shafted. The last RNS was very clear in highlighting the possible dangers.
Sunken. In the last ten days. Sorry I don’t want to post the full discourse.
Sunken. I have a holding in the Crystal Amber fund. I made a general enquiry regarding the fund and mentioned Hur. That was stated in their response .
If your assumption is correct Redleader that would be wonderful.
Let’s remember the bond repayment is not for 18 months and the company currently has $85 million of net cash. Hur must use 2021 to add value in order to be able to repay the bond.
Crystal Ambers external technical consultants remain convinced that Hurricane has around 1 billion barrels of oil.
I take great comfort from the fact that people like Daltry still hold shares in this company ;)
Obviously all those negatives he mentions are outweighed by positives.
Chill everyone and open a decent bottle.
Still hold £7m worth of shares.
This reads like your “City Pal” comment regarding “option money” Lol.
Found the comment on the Crystal Amber web site. Lol.
“Following the publication of the report the shares are trading at little more than option money and the Fund has increased its holding. Despite these uncertainties, the company has stressed there are currently no going concern issues and it has ruled out an equity raise at this time.”
What was the SP when they last purchased? How many shares do they hold and why haven’t they been selling or at least selling enough that meant the market needed to be notified?
Anyone got the upto date figure for the 200MDA?
Just a furloughed troll I suspect
“ and nothing has changed from its highs of 40-60p ”
What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
We’re waiting to find out about the “...outlook and direction” from the company.
I’m still of the opinion that no news is good news.
