Froom April last year when TOMCO appointed Louis Castro as a Non-Executive Director.......
Mr Castro has over 30 years' experience in investment banking and in the oil and gas industry and was, at one time, Chief Finance Officer at Eland Oil and Gas Limited, a shallow water offshore Nigeria oil producer acquired by Seplat Petroleum Development Company plc for Ā£382 million in cash in December 2019. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Northland Capital Partners in London and formerly Head of Corporate Finance at Matrix Corporate Capital.
He has chaired audit committees and remuneration and nomination committees at several public companies, where he has also advised on corporate governance. Mr Castro is currently Executive Chairman of Orosur Mining Inc., and Non-Executive Director of The Stanley Gibbons Group plc, Tekcapital plc and Predator Oil & Gas Holdings plc.
Mr Castro started his career qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), prior to working for SG Warburg & Co. (now part of UBS).
He graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc & B.Comm (Hons) in Production Engineering & Economics, before completing a post graduate course in Production Management & Methods at Cambridge University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and was formerly a London Stock Exchange AIM Qualified Executive.
Commenting, John Potter, CEO of TomCo, said:
"I would like to welcome Louis on behalf of the Board. Louis brings significant oil and gas industry experience, together with relevant corporate finance and governance expertise that will assist TomCo as we progress our plans and we look forward to working closely with him."
So what has this guy been doing? Surely he was brought in to help with the financing of the 1 or 2x 5000bopd plant(s)?
Who knows?
Nice post ElectricLion!
I might, just might make it to the end of their first sentence and then realise itās the usual waffle and then donāt bother reading anymore.
Iām in at below .8 here this time around, so I donāt need to complain about things. I know how rubbish the company is and BODs are, but I think there is money to be made from this level.
GL to all invested here. DYOR on this one.
ā¦ā¦but with plenty of risk.
I have been in and out of this one a short time (18months). For someone looking at KEFI for the first time, it is going to sound like a āgoldenā opportunity with a great upside from the current 0.8p per share. But the words of those that have been here for a long time like smellyben, should be listened to and kept in mind if investing here. Take all that is read on a BB with a pinch of salt (thatās a given), but the same could also be said of KEFIs board of directors ??? This share is a good punt, with plenty of upside and so I have bought in at what I consider a bargain price (0.78) and will see how my punt money goes. GLA and as always DYOR
The drop down to 0.14 is disgusting in my view. An overshoot for sure. It has certainly annoyed a lot of people. Alba are cash positive by a few million Ā£Ā£Ā£s and have proven up more and more gold anomalies. As well as acquiring more license areas solely to itself. Alba are just growing and growing. I for one, am quite happy with the progress made.
Sit ā¦ wait ā¦ and you shall be rewarded!

No news = good news , until the bad news.
How can they agree any commercial rights to resources that they currently have no legal claim to??? Baffles me! (Before anyone else says itā¦Yes, a lot does baffle me). The radio silence is the norm from the BOD at Tomco, I find that theyāre not great at communication.
Less than a week to go now and we will see which direction Tomco plan to take this. Might be a bumpy ride, but Iām hoping for a smooth gradual take offā¦.with the share price that is. Fingers crossed.

That the MMs will lift the share price for a while this morning and then drop it again. Seems to be what they like doing with Alba when any good news comes out.
Greenroc plan to do more drillingā¦.Oooooo, meet the new bossā¦..same as the old bossā¦..Weāve got lots of proven drilling of high grade graphite, shall we dig it up???? No no noā¦.letās do some more drilling, I like making holes in the ground.
Please forgive my pessimism and negativity, Iām just fed up with reading about more and more drilling programs. I know theyāre needed, but Im just fed up with reading about them.
Alba have tweetedā¦.
āTodayās news is disappointing, however we believe that dewatering the Llechfraith Shaft presents no adverse environmental impact. We are now considering the grounds to appeal the decision.ā
So an appeal is being looked at and rightly so.
Have any of the fundamentals changed since any of us first invested? They haven't for me, they have actually improved significantly and so whilst it is annoying that the share price is down, I have focussed on the fundamentals and looked at my and others shared research to confirm why I am invested.

You must be referring to the HL app, as it has been like that for quite a while and the so called live prices are anything but. Not a very good service really, I could not (in good conscience) recommend them to anyone. The app certainly needs a big update with some bug fixes.
Okayā¦.Letās get the facts right shall we, so as not to create any negativity on this board (or any more anyway).
It is just the final due diligence that is expected to be done by the 31st October 2021, not the acquisition of Angra as we would all like.
From the RNSā¦.
āCompletion of the Acquisition is conditional, inter alia, on final due diligence, which is expected to be completed by GST by 31 October 2021, and also on GST obtaining approval from the FCA for the change of control of Angra, a regulated entityā.
So the final due diligence is expected to be completed by 31st October 2021 and also, it may not be. So people shouldnāt bank on this.
Plus, nobody knows how long the FCA will take to approve the acquisitionā¦2 weeks? 2 months? If people state that it is going to be done and dusted by next week and it isnātā¦ā¦well, the share price will tank back down and we donāt want that.
Now cue the abuse and deramping accusations lol
Yes, I am invested here. Yes, I am in profit and I would like to stay that way.
