RE: Lot of interest in Humming Bird11 Aug 2024 18:25
Well we've already established that Coris would have to pay a minimum of 8.5p a share, 50% premium over the existing price so they may well think that short term high interest cash revolver on forward cash flow assumption is the better option.
So we need to look at what's been happening in July. Rainy season has started and we hit a record of 30k BCM'S per day in July however it looks like this has dropped back to 22k per day because of the rainy season. Just on 22k BCM'S mined material has jumped from 1.2m BCM's to 2m and giving we know that the grade mined is now at least 2.6g and the max processing capacity is circa 100k per tonne at based on design capacity, we're now adding twice as much material to the rom pad than what we can actually process.
This means that all the marginal surface material is no longer the main feed source.
At 2.64g per tonne and 100k tonnes processed per month, Kouroussa is either already producg or will be very soon, at a rate of 25k ounces a quarter, which is also about right if you has reiterated guidance of 70k ounces for the year.
All unhedged of course so at 2400k ounces we can expect Q3 at Kor to bring in cash flows of 60 million over cash costs of circa 25 million.....plus Yanfolila
